> 3 dayInstall was so easy! (26 y/o female with no prior experience) Borrowed a drill and had to buy a hole saw attachment. Maybe took 20 minutes. Hasnt come off the wall yet! Also, I bought this for my mom who hated the idea of handicap-anything and made it more of an interior design project. She thinks it looks great and is safe now.

> 3 dayThe holder was installed by my bathroom contractor with very little issues. It looks great and is extremely helpful when sitting down and getting up, as my knees are compromised. Paper on the roll pulls easily (use the over the top roll!) and is super easy to replace when empty. Id recommend this to anyone who needs a little help and also wants a nice looking fixture.

> 3 dayMy wife needs a little help getting up. But the frames that fit around the toilet are for people who need to push up - my wife needs something to pull on. This product is exactly what she needed, and it doesnt standout as an assistance device - it looks nice in our bathroom. Installation wasnt difficult once I bought the right hole saw. But you need to be careful in removing the tab which sets the anchors in the wall. I broke the tab on the first anchor and had to go buy a SecureMount kit at Lowes to replace it. Its been in place a month now, and it is still securely firm. I installed it into regular drywall, not studs. Update: 12 months since the initial installation and this is still secured fast to the wall. This product has made a big difference for my wife. Highly recommended.

Greater than one weekI like this so much better than I thought I would! We got it because my husband has a disability and we remodeled our bathroom for greater accessibility. First, it works GREAT as a grab bar, and the awesome extra thing is that the rounded part is toward the front where we have it, so when you pull a bit harder at the TP, it wedges it there and makes it easy to tear off with one hand! That was a bonus feature I never considered. Of course, if you have it mounted so it is on the sitters left instead of right, that wont work unless you pull backwards :) I also thought this wasnt very attractive when we ordered it, but it actually looks fine, good, in fact, in our bathroom, since the brushed nickel matches our other fixtures. Universal design should make everything safer and more useful for everyone. OH - another feature of this... I recently had the stomach flu, and having a grab bar on one side and this grab handle on the other was a comfort as I was bowing to the porcelain god... talking to Ralph on the big white phone... you get the idea! Anyway, it helped.

> 3 dayThis was my second purchase for a Toilet paper holder/Stablerizer for my husband. He pulled the other one out of the wall. Great item, definitely worth the price.

> 3 dayI cant say enough great things about this product! Im a 60-year-old active woman whos had both my knees and both hips replaced due to osteoarthritis. I wish I wouldve had this product prior to my surgeries! Though I dont use it as a grab bar now, I wanted this feature as I grow old alone. I just had my master bath gutted down to the studs, and I wanted my new formal bath to have lots of safety features without looking fuddy-duddy. This product is great because it combines function and form, yet doesnt look like a typical grab bar. I also like the fact that toilet paper can be changed so easily -- no more fumbling with those darn spring-designed t-paper holders! ;-)

> 3 dayWe purchased 2 grab bars - this bronze one and a brushed nickle bar - one for each bathroom. One of them, I installed myself. We had converted an outdoor porch into a bathroom for my son (who has special needs - balance and mobility being one of his needs). I just screwed it into the wood wall. Its stable, sturdy, and its as strong as that wall - it will hold just about any weight. The other was to be installed in another bathroom & was a bit more complicated. I could not for the life of me, figure out the the plastic locking device that goes through the wall. So, I watched the video - not helpful. I now understood how, but somehow couldnt figure out why this would work. I was afraid it wouldnt hold weight. So, I had my husband watch the video. He understood & was convinced it would work & be sturdy. So, we began. This bar was to be installed on the side of a cupboard by our toilet. I took the shelves out of the cupboard & had my husband niche them to fit around the 2 2x4s that I installed vertically inside the cupboard. My husband then followed the instructions in the video & installed the grab bar onto the side of the newly reinforced cupboard. This bar is sturdy & holds my husbands weight (230 to 250lbs - depending on how motivated hes been). He has a trick knee on one knee & his other is just plain messed up & surgery helped, but wasnt a cure. Its sturdy - even when he has to put all of his weight on it. I think they are more attractive than other bars Ive seen, & the ability to put toilet paper on them makes them even more useful. As far as ease of installation, I would say that that depends on what you plan on installing it on. We installed both of ours at an angle, for ease of use - due to where they ended up located compared to the stool.

> 3 dayVery nice to have a handle and a toilet paper holder in one unit. The design is interesting. It is too short to screw to two standard US studs, so it comes with an interesting mount system. You drill 1 1/4 holes in your wall, then slip the mounts in and pull them tight against the back of the wall, like an oversize molly bolt. Screw the plates on the outside of the wall, then use the allen wrench to tighten the set screws in place to hold the bar on the wall. The wall mounts are quite well thought out. The set screws are the hard part of the installation. Theres very little room between the wall and the trim rings. There are three set screws per post. Tightening each screw with an allen wrench was tedious. After installed, it is sturdy and Im glad to have it. It has saved me from falling several times. I believe the load limit is 250 pounds, so its not as strong as a standard handicap hand rail. Arthritis sufferers will appreciate how easy it it to change toilet paper rolls. Slide it right on, no springing rolls, etc. Much easier plus gives you a safe handle.
