> 3 dayI doubted the installation claims if only one end attaches to a wall stud. I was wrong. Im 235 pounds and it has handled my weight since installation.

> 3 dayI am a 50 year old male, six feet tall and 220 lbs. I have also suffered from two stokes that left me with no balance and limited mobility. I was able to install this grab bar in about 30 min. onto a Sheetrock wall. One of the mounts lined up with a wall stud and I used a 1/4 x 2 stainless steel hex head lag bolt to secure the unit. The bolt fit the center hole in the flange perfectly. The other mount was secured with the included Sheetrock mount. I find the whole thing well made and solid. I am very happy with the unit as a whole! As others have said, the roll of paper easily comes off the unit. Unlike the others, I prefer this feature. With my limited mobility it is easy to replace the roll and I prefer not to reach while getting paper. I simply grab the roll and then put it back on the unit after I use it. This works for me. Before this I had the roll sitting on the counter. Now it has its own place. :o)

> 3 dayThis has worked really well as a grab bar. My only objection is that I wish it would allow more room for the paper. During the pandemic, weve not had much choice in our paper and sometimes end up with the new fatter, shorter rolls. (who does Charmin think theyre kidding?) lol These fatter rolls rub the wall until the first 20 or so sheets are used. Other than that, it has worked fine.

> 3 dayThis grab bar works perfectly for anyone who needs a little extra help from the commode! Especially someone with a prosthetic leg! The combination reduces having other protruding fixture for toilet paper. Looks nice too!

> 3 dayThe holder was installed by my bathroom contractor with very little issues. It looks great and is extremely helpful when sitting down and getting up, as my knees are compromised. Paper on the roll pulls easily (use the over the top roll!) and is super easy to replace when empty. Id recommend this to anyone who needs a little help and also wants a nice looking fixture.

> 3 dayThis is perfect for the guest bath. It can be used as an assist bar and also holds the roll of paper as well. Excellent quality. I bought several so it is in all the baths. I didnt want to have a large assist bar and this is a perfect size to grab and then stand. Very pleased with the quality and appearance. The person who installed this bought a drill attachment that cut the dry wall circular hole to specified size for one end. The other end attaches to a stud. I had it installed with just a slight angle to make it easier to lift oneself and it also will keep the roll from sliding off. Highly recommend. Price is good for the quality.

> 3 dayI like this grab bar tp holder very much because its so practical. We were originally going to install it on the left side of the toilet with the tp holder facing forward. Then I changed my mind, and decided to have it installed on the right side of the toilet with the tp holder facing to the rear of the toilet. Didnt make a difference. Wouldve worked either way. As other reviewers have noted, when the grab bar is installed level, the tp holder will be slanting slightly downhill. I thought that might be a problem, but now with use, I find it isnt. Toilet paper pulls evenly off the roll without pulling the roll off the holder. Works nicely. Although its great in that it does double duty as a grab bar to help you get up from the seated position, it does have a kind of an ADA look to it. So we installed it on the privacy wall between our toilet and shower, so you really dont see it when you walk into the bathroom. If we had installed it on the other side, it would have been visible immediately upon stepping into the bathroom, and made it look sort of institutional. Now, hidden behind the privacy wall, I still have the double duty convenience, without ruining the look of my fancy new bathroom. Im pleased.
