Since this is the 3rd time I have ordered this well designed grab bar and toilet paper holder over the past 6 years, I obviously think it’s an excellent product. I had no problem adding the wooden blocks when mounting the item to my new bathroom cabinet next to the toilet. Since it was mounted on the side of the cabinet where the drawers were located, I just made sure the mounting blocks were of an appropriate dimension so as not to prevent the drawers from sliding smoothly.

This seemed like the coolest way to hang toilet paper.. I had to return it though because there was not sufficient space between it where it had to be mounted and the loo. I still think it is such a cool idea.

The Moen LR2352DBN Grab Bar Toilet Paper Holder is sturdy and made from attractive grippy brushed nickel. I mounted mine on a wood sink cabinet by the toilet, so I was able to use a cheap 1-1/4 hole saw and an electric drill. If you are mounting to tile, you need an expensive diamond grit hole saw and some patience--or you can buy an inexpensive 1/8 glass cutting drill bit and drill a bunch of little holes in a circle and tap it out. I did this with another Moen support bar and it worked fine. The Moen kit comes with a clever plastic insert mounting system that allows mounting in blind spaces. The system is really neat--I had to play with it awhile just so I could marvel at its coolness. The insert is also quite large--make sure that you have space to mount this critter before you cut the hole! I had to cut it down a bit to fit another Moen support bar in the tub. I was slightly less impressed with the holder itself. It looks good, but I would 1. have made the toilet roll flange just a bit larger so the toilet roll is less prone to slipping off and 2. the toilet roll holder bar is not precisely parallel to the grab bar. Mine is bent several degrees down. No problems with function, its just Im a bit anal (snort!) about good engineering and manufacturing. Overall an attractive and useful dual-function unit. Four stars.

The holder was installed by my bathroom contractor with very little issues. It looks great and is extremely helpful when sitting down and getting up, as my knees are compromised. Paper on the roll pulls easily (use the over the top roll!) and is super easy to replace when empty. Id recommend this to anyone who needs a little help and also wants a nice looking fixture.

A bit larger in person than it looks in pictures, but extremely secure and very attractive. I dont have any of the issues that others have mentioned regarding the tissue roll falling off the holder. Thinking about which side of the toilet itll be on, and attention to placement and is the key. Basically, you want to be tearing the tissue in the direction of the curved part of the bar. If you mount it on the right hand wall, then place it near enough to the toilet so the natural and comfortable tendency will be to tear the tissue away from you. This way, you will be tearing the tissue toward the curved/closed end of the bar, and not pulling toward the open end. If you mount it on your left side, then mount it a little further from the toilet so the natural tearing motion will be pulling toward the curve. The secure mount hardware is fantastic! Extremely easy and secure. Also purchased the Moen Home Care Grab Bar (LR8724D1GBN) to use as a towel bar in this same bathroom. Perfect match, although the grab bar does not come with the secure mount brackets. They fit and work with the bar however, you will need to purchase those separately.

Very nice to have a handle and a toilet paper holder in one unit. The design is interesting. It is too short to screw to two standard US studs, so it comes with an interesting mount system. You drill 1 1/4 holes in your wall, then slip the mounts in and pull them tight against the back of the wall, like an oversize molly bolt. Screw the plates on the outside of the wall, then use the allen wrench to tighten the set screws in place to hold the bar on the wall. The wall mounts are quite well thought out. The set screws are the hard part of the installation. Theres very little room between the wall and the trim rings. There are three set screws per post. Tightening each screw with an allen wrench was tedious. After installed, it is sturdy and Im glad to have it. It has saved me from falling several times. I believe the load limit is 250 pounds, so its not as strong as a standard handicap hand rail. Arthritis sufferers will appreciate how easy it it to change toilet paper rolls. Slide it right on, no springing rolls, etc. Much easier plus gives you a safe handle.

Bought this as a first step helping an older family member with mobility challenge. Was so happy I bought another for the other downstairs room. Cannot see myself ever not putting them in future homes. Looks good, very helpful for those that need it, and no spring flying about when you change the roll!

This is perfect for the guest bath. It can be used as an assist bar and also holds the roll of paper as well. Excellent quality. I bought several so it is in all the baths. I didnt want to have a large assist bar and this is a perfect size to grab and then stand. Very pleased with the quality and appearance. The person who installed this bought a drill attachment that cut the dry wall circular hole to specified size for one end. The other end attaches to a stud. I had it installed with just a slight angle to make it easier to lift oneself and it also will keep the roll from sliding off. Highly recommend. Price is good for the quality.
