> 3 dayVery handy. These are really nice looking. I have them in both bathrooms. I had backing in the wall, so didnt need the hollow wall hardware.

Greater than one weekThe relatively large installation holes, combined with the requirement to miss any studs made installation a little spooky. But all went smoothly when following instructions. Strong assistance support. Utilitarian attractive with easy toilet paper dispensing/changing.

19-11-2024I found it a nice bonus that this open-ended toilet paper holder that doubles as a hand grip is also pleasing to look at, doubles as a phone shelf (if you balance nicely) and can be an elbow rest. It feels substantial and the brushed nickel I chose has a luxurious finish. It should go without saying that you would not want to screw this into drywall plaster without backing support because it is a grab bar also. I chose this during a bathroom remodel, when the studs in the wall were temporary exposed and an extra, short crosspiece could be installed to allow both ends to be securely anchored.

> 3 dayI had this professionally installed since we had to have more in the master bath that would require drilling thru travertine.

> 3 dayI like it except the toliet paper will not stay in right place. If I had time to go over I would mount 1)handle 2) toilet paper holder. Not a combo

> 3 dayI doubted the installation claims if only one end attaches to a wall stud. I was wrong. Im 235 pounds and it has handled my weight since installation.

> 3 dayEasy to install and results in a sturdy assist bar. One small drawback is that the spacing off the wall is about a quarter inch too close so the mega rolls of TP are a tighter fit than it should be. Does not make me rate it down but Moen should remedy this problem.

> 3 dayI love the support bar this item gives me. A little help to lift off the toilet is a big help. Easy to grip, my plumber installed it on to the tile wall. I wish I had bought it years ago.

Greater than one weekI was a little worried about the ease of installation and how solid the result would be when attaching to drywall. Indeed, I had to measure very carefully to drill holes in the right places and perfectly level. And, as it was, one hole was almost obstructed by a plastic water pipe that was not detected by my very basic stud finder. But the end result was perfect. The grab bar is very solid. We have always liked the open-ended style of toilet paper holder since we first encountered it in Germany in 1990, so this device is a perfect combination.
