> 3 dayStrong yet beautiful - a great combination! As we age, getting up and down requires more effort. This combo toilet tissue holder and grab bar is just the thing! It allows us to have a grab bar that is stylish yet strong. The 8 inch bracket spacing means only one of the mounting brackets can be supported by a stud. The drywall adapters provided looked very nice and strong but the rating is 250 pounds, and I weight 235. I figured I would not tempt things so I attached a piece of maple 1X4 to the studs and attached this bar to the 1X4. It doesnt give a bit when I use it to stand up. I will be putting one of these in for my mother-in-law when I visit her later this year.

Greater than one weekHaving this bar beside my toilet has helped me so much in rising. While Im healthy, my 80 year old knees arent what they once were, and I was having a bit of a struggle. I first saw this at my daughters house where they had just installed it in their downstairs guest bath at the request of my son-in-laws mother, who has a very difficult time getting up and down. I loved it, got the link from my daughter and immediately ordered it. It took a little planning on the part of my husband to get it in just the position I wanted, but once mounted (only one side in a stud) it is very, very sturdy. I got the brushed silver color and it looks lovely. I would highly recommend this Moen grab bar.

> 3 dayThis seemed like the coolest way to hang toilet paper.. I had to return it though because there was not sufficient space between it where it had to be mounted and the loo. I still think it is such a cool idea.

Greater than one weekYou dont know you need a grab bar next to the toilet until you do! Placed this in a tiny guest bathroom. Love that it doesnt look out of place since its really a toilet paper holder ;-) A must have for anyone who has had surgery or is up in age and having difficulty getting up and down.

> 3 dayA bit larger in person than it looks in pictures, but extremely secure and very attractive. I dont have any of the issues that others have mentioned regarding the tissue roll falling off the holder. Thinking about which side of the toilet itll be on, and attention to placement and is the key. Basically, you want to be tearing the tissue in the direction of the curved part of the bar. If you mount it on the right hand wall, then place it near enough to the toilet so the natural and comfortable tendency will be to tear the tissue away from you. This way, you will be tearing the tissue toward the curved/closed end of the bar, and not pulling toward the open end. If you mount it on your left side, then mount it a little further from the toilet so the natural tearing motion will be pulling toward the curve. The secure mount hardware is fantastic! Extremely easy and secure. Also purchased the Moen Home Care Grab Bar (LR8724D1GBN) to use as a towel bar in this same bathroom. Perfect match, although the grab bar does not come with the secure mount brackets. They fit and work with the bar however, you will need to purchase those separately.

> 3 dayThis was actually easier to install than a regular grab bar. It looks nice and is dual purpose. It nice that my parents can grab this and I know it will support them.

> 3 dayI love the support bar this item gives me. A little help to lift off the toilet is a big help. Easy to grip, my plumber installed it on to the tile wall. I wish I had bought it years ago.

Greater than one weekLove the fact it’s a toilet paper holder and safety bar/handle. (Install done by contractor)

> 3 dayWorks great as a functional grab bar and does not look institutional. I love it-a perfect solution.

> 3 daySince this is the 3rd time I have ordered this well designed grab bar and toilet paper holder over the past 6 years, I obviously think it’s an excellent product. I had no problem adding the wooden blocks when mounting the item to my new bathroom cabinet next to the toilet. Since it was mounted on the side of the cabinet where the drawers were located, I just made sure the mounting blocks were of an appropriate dimension so as not to prevent the drawers from sliding smoothly.
