> 3 dayThis is really strong. Because of the way my (tiny) bathroom is laid out & the major leg surgery I had, I have to pull on it horizontally (i.e. like I am pulling it out straight out of the wall) to get up from the toilet. Not sure if it was designed to take that much pulling force in that direction, but it feels rock solid. The toggle screws that hold it to drywall are the biggest ones I have ever seen & have an ingenious design. The only reason I gave it a 4 star rating was a) it required a 1 1/4” (not sure of size) hole saw & I couldn’t find one in the garage, so a trip to Ace hardware & b) once you have drilled the holes with the hole saw, there’s not much play in the mounting brackets to allow for adjusting to width or level. So you have to be spot on for cutting the holes. Mine is a very tiny bit off level, but not at all noticeable. I just need to make sure I dont leave a torpedo level lying around in the bathroom—wouldnt want a guest to check my work ;-) BTW, It’s bigger than I thought it would be from the pictures; barely had enough clear wall space to install it in my tiny bathroom. A roll of toilet paper looks sort of lost on it, but I appreciate the size when I have to grab it

> 3 dayLove this mounting system. Ran into a very hard board and stripped a screw, fixed it with a sawzall. My daughter was worried but it is perfect and strong and works well. It gives you that little needed help to get off a low toilet, and it holds the paper.

> 3 dayA bit larger in person than it looks in pictures, but extremely secure and very attractive. I dont have any of the issues that others have mentioned regarding the tissue roll falling off the holder. Thinking about which side of the toilet itll be on, and attention to placement and is the key. Basically, you want to be tearing the tissue in the direction of the curved part of the bar. If you mount it on the right hand wall, then place it near enough to the toilet so the natural and comfortable tendency will be to tear the tissue away from you. This way, you will be tearing the tissue toward the curved/closed end of the bar, and not pulling toward the open end. If you mount it on your left side, then mount it a little further from the toilet so the natural tearing motion will be pulling toward the curve. The secure mount hardware is fantastic! Extremely easy and secure. Also purchased the Moen Home Care Grab Bar (LR8724D1GBN) to use as a towel bar in this same bathroom. Perfect match, although the grab bar does not come with the secure mount brackets. They fit and work with the bar however, you will need to purchase those separately.

> 3 dayI like this so much better than I thought I would! We got it because my husband has a disability and we remodeled our bathroom for greater accessibility. First, it works GREAT as a grab bar, and the awesome extra thing is that the rounded part is toward the front where we have it, so when you pull a bit harder at the TP, it wedges it there and makes it easy to tear off with one hand! That was a bonus feature I never considered. Of course, if you have it mounted so it is on the sitters left instead of right, that wont work unless you pull backwards :) I also thought this wasnt very attractive when we ordered it, but it actually looks fine, good, in fact, in our bathroom, since the brushed nickel matches our other fixtures. Universal design should make everything safer and more useful for everyone. OH - another feature of this... I recently had the stomach flu, and having a grab bar on one side and this grab handle on the other was a comfort as I was bowing to the porcelain god... talking to Ralph on the big white phone... you get the idea! Anyway, it helped.

> 3 dayThis is great when you need a grab bar by the toilet. One little thing is that the toilet paper slides off the holder rather easily so just need to pay attention. Overall it’s great

> 3 dayMy husband has trouble with his knees and has difficulty getting up from the toilet. We bought this for our guest bathroom. We wanted something to help our friends with mobility problems, but we also did not want our house to look like a nursing home. We like the asthetics of this item and the functionality.

> 3 dayHad our guest bathroom re-done and this grab bar in the toilet paper holder was a great answer for us!! I didnt even know such a thing existed. It is also very clean and nice looking. My 95 years young aunt is most impressed with this! I thank our contractor who told me about this.

> 3 dayWas intimidated since I needed this in the bathroom but was told by several men that I’d have to hire a professional. ( they couldn’t do it ). And of course there are never any studs where you need them. Not only were the instructions easy to follow but there are only a few parts to install. This 76 year old women installed it in 20 minutes. Works great and looks good
