> 24 hourUsed it to cut a 3” hole in a 550 gallon stainless steel tank. It cut through it faster than my drill could handle. I will be buying more of these. Just wish they were made in USA

> 24 hourAs the title states, the feeder bit broke on the very 1st hole. It was only a typical metal stud and nothing thick at all. It broke immediately as it penetrated. Im a plumber and tend to use a hole saw for my holes but after trying out a similar kit to what this bit is, figured it would work great. It didnt work at all. Returning for refund and I will not bother to try again. Time is money and this feeder bit (also called the guide bit) is far to cheap to work as such a bit would require.

> 24 hourBought the 180mm (7.x) hole saw to drill a hole in a 250 gal propane tank, my smoker project. It cut it, still has its teeth and I presume would be able to cut more. I figured it was a 1 and done use but if I ever need to use it again it might have some life left in it. Worked out perfectly for the 7 pipe Im using for the stack.

> 24 hourBought two, and both drill oversized. One drills 0.20 oversized and the second drills 0.30 oversized. If you are drilling say a bolt hole, it’s a really sloppy fit. The quality of build was fine, but the accuracy wasn’t.

> 24 hourSo i wondered why they give you two guide drills (that go in the center of the hole saw and guide it straight as you drill/cut because without it the hole saw would wander all over the place). Well mine broke the first guide drill within a second of starting the hole. And that was with minimum pressure as I am always cautious to start and add load slowly. The second drill bit went just as fast. I put a dewalt drill bit in there and that did not break so.... needs work I would say. After getting far enough for the hole saw to engage with the aluminum (1/4 inch, fairly soft Al plate) it chattered and tried to wander but the dewalt bit held. Still it didnt cut straight and instead gouged out an elliptical hole. Slowly. With a tremendous amount of noise. Now as you machinists know, aluminum has a high cutting speed and both steel and carbide bits will cut it cleanly but I hesitated to ramp up the speed much more as I didnt trust this bit not to come apart. Maybe I can save it for use on wood. I definitely would not recommend this hole saw for even soft metals like aluminum and brass. If I had an end mill this large i would have used that instead. So, maybe good for wood, not anything harder and the guide drills are not to be relied upon. Update: Seller has offered a refund but thats not important to me. I did take the bit to a friends machine shop and we put it in a 3 jaw chuck on a milling machine for the hell of it and fed it by hand and it did cut aluminum plate ( no guide drill required) without visible damage to the carbide cutting bits so I guess this qualifies redemption of sorts. When it cant wander it does cut so keep that in mind.

> 24 hourI used this to drill a hole in my bumper for a block heater. I thought it would take two due to quality, so I bought two of these. Turns out it is of great quality. I will use this for years

> 24 hourPilot bit broke halfway through the single hole I needed to drill in my new stainless steel sink. Couldn’t find a perfect size replacement bit at local home store, so hole ended up wobbling and being wallowed out. Luckily what I was putting in (glass rinser) covered the oversized hole.

> 24 hourGreat tool for drilling hole in shipping containers to install vents. Go slow at a angle, with coolant, cause that corton steel is hard. This hole saw stands up to the test.
