Greater than one weekIt works, so far. I have a little less than a ml mixed into 3oz for a 2 weeks old. The easiness of gas and stool releases are noticeable. She hasn’t complained, so far. I would give it a five. Pending future experiences when she advances beyond two month age.

> 3 dayMommys Bliss gripe water is a life saver! It works every time to rid my son of his hiccups! They are gone within seconds of giving it to him! I have used this gripe water since he was born! He use to get hiccups in the womb about 5-6 times a day! This continued after he was born and this gripe water was everything we needed it to be, a blessing! My son didnt have colic, but he did have gas and it helped with that too! I also want to brag on Mommys Bliss customer service department, I accidentally gave my son a dose only 30 mins after I had already given him some for hiccups. In my sleepy, new mommy, panicked state I emailed to ask about overdosing and they emailed me back very timely and assured me that he would be fine cause of the all natural ingredient of the gripe water. He was fine. I gave him a bottle in between the doses so it digested just fine. This is a wonderful product! I recommend this to all new mommies and people buying baby shower gifts!

> 3 dayMy now 9-week old son has a mild case of colic. We have been giving this to him since he was about 5 or 6 weeks old. Im not sure if its the taste or the near-instant relief or both but it actually works for him. Ill usually give it to him if hes in between feedings and acts like his tummy is bothering him by wriggling around and tensing up. Or when hes crying inconsolably. After he takes it, I dont know if its psychological or the relief is that fast, but he will usually calm down right away (I also give him his pacifier immediately after). His pediatrician made a comment that its just pure sugar (which is not true and Im not sure why she shoots it down so quickly). She instead highly recommended giving him chamomile tea (which didnt seem to work and he didnt seem too pleased with the taste). This gripe water has very effective ingredients and works for my baby so well that I ended up subscribing to it here on Amazon.

Greater than one weekI have used Mommys Bliss Gripe Water since our little one was born. She is now 8 months old, and I still use it on occasion. For the first few months of her life, her stomach upset easily. Gripe Water is great for relieving discomfort and even hiccups! I use homeopathic remedies, and often dissolve the tablets in gripe water before administering them. From the beginning she would take it without problem. Now when she sees the dropper she gets excited and reaches for it. I have found it helpful as I started solid foods. Some things still upset LOs belly, and gripe water seems to help relieve it and help her settle down to sleep. I always keep it on hand; one in the diaper bag and one at home. Bonus is that two bottles here are about the same as buying one in the store.

> 3 daySo, we got some Babys Bliss and it worked - but it sure was expensive. Amazons price is about half what they charge in the local grocery, and it is still expensive. The active ingredients are fennel and ginger. So I made a very strong decoction of herbs in the Microwave - 1 tbsp ginger, dried and powdered, and 2 tbsp fennel seed, and 1tsp cumin cumin and 1 tsp cardamom and 1 tbsp coriander, all whole except for the ginger. 1 stick licorice chopped up. I put it all in the microwave with 2 cups of water, and heated it on low for 15 minutes, let it cool, then filtered it through a double layer of paper toweling. This is much stronger than gripe water you buy, 4 drops seems to be enough. And it can be used to flavor your tea if you dont want to give it to your baby. But if you dont want to make it or dont trust yourself to make it, this brand seems to work. Our little grandbaby burps and spits up and cries. Even mylicon drops dont stop it, whether we put them in her formula or give them to her straight. A dose of gripe water, or a few drops of my recipe, and two things happen. First, the baby burps and does not spit up. Secondly, the babys tummy relaxes. You can put your fingers on her tummy and feel it is not tense.

> 3 dayWe bought this for our baby just because it was recommended to always have on hand. We only used it when our baby had hiccups really bad, was upset, and I happened to read on the bottle that it helps with hiccups. It works 95% of the time as long as you wait a few minutes (we usually need to wait about 5 minutes after the hiccups start and then give the gripe water otherwise it doesnt seem to work as well). Ive never used it for anything other and you dont need much at all. Just a few drops is really what we found was needed. Also works for adults as well! I had crazy painful hiccups that had lasted 10 minutes. I finally tried this gripe water and seriously, just a sip and the hiccups dissapated. Our baby did seem to choke on it a couple of times. I would suggest doing some research beforehand if you are worried. There are some discussions/blogs about it so that you can make a decision that you feel most comfortable with.
