Mommys Bliss Original Gripe Water, Infant Gas and Colic Relief, Gentle & Safe, 2 Weeks+, 4 Fl Oz (Pack of 2)

My son‘s bottles from the time he was five weeks old. He’s 2 1/2 now and gets one nighttime milk bottle. He still needs the gripe water which is why we still put it in there and if he doesn’t drink the bottle at night he will throughout the day. It helps him from having his daily cough/gasps/hiccups he’s had since birth. The coughing and hiccups are worse if he doesn’t get it for a few days. Our pediatrician said it’s not hurting him so as long as he’s getting just the one daily dose now (instead of the higher dose he would get with an all milk/formula diet) he’s okay. I’ll always recommend it cause this paired with a baby probiotic is what helped us through the first few months with gas and puking constantly!

Using this with my first born. He was VERY fussy due to gas so I bought this to help. My baby would breastfeed, cry right after from gas pains and we would give him the gripe water. He would still seem to be in pain afterward so I would still help work the gas out. Once he felt better and would fall asleep, he would release gas or have a bowel movement either in his sleep or upon waking up for his next feeding and would seem to feel better. After a few of these cycles, he doesnt have those horrible gas pains like he did before. I now just give him the gripe water if he seems to be a little more fussy than normal again and it seems to nip it in the bud and help with the next time he wakes up for feeding. I also noticed that it seems to handle his hiccups pretty much right away which is awesome (he hiccups a lot and is much more comfortable afterward when they are handled).

It works, so far. I have a little less than a ml mixed into 3oz for a 2 weeks old. The easiness of gas and stool releases are noticeable. She hasn’t complained, so far. I would give it a five. Pending future experiences when she advances beyond two month age.

I was contacted by the company via e-mail immediately and not only was given an explination but was offered a deal in exchange for a positive product review. I was contacted on several occassions to be sure I received the product..... I love Gripe Water because its all natural and theres no need for concern over given my 8 month old daughter too much. *ONE NOTE I WILL TELL TO PARENTS PURCHASING FOR THE FIRST TIME: Be aware that one of the natural ingredients contains Fennel, the plant used to make soy. If your baby has a soy allergy be aware of possible allergic reactions. The warning is on the bottle. For my child, she was both lactose/soy intolerant & had severe acid reflux. She was on Zantac, rice cereal in her formula (only kind she could tolerate was Nutramigen). Ive given her Gripe Water without any problems since 3 months of age without any problem. I think they have to print that on the bottle by law. There isnt enough of the ingredient to cause a problem. I use it for gassiness, and now teething. Sometimes I give it to my daughter before I feed her so it soothes her tummy for the more acidic foods we try (shes on solids now and apple juice). VERY GOOD PRODUCT, VERY WONDERFUL COMPANY

I love gripe water for my son. It has been a lifesaver to stop his hiccuping instantly and calm down his upset tummy. I usually get it at walmart, but decided i would get it here. Its easier for me to have it shipped with him being a newborn. However, i bought this cause its a double pack and when i opened my box, the gripe water is already open and it has a stopper and the unopened syringe laying in the box. The bottles still have the plastic seal around the caps so i’m not worried about the gripe water. But i am missing a syringe. The stopper that was in the box doesn’t even go with this product (pictured). For every bottle of gripe water you are supposed to get an unopened syringe and new stopper. Now one of my bottles will have to be used with his old syringe and bottle stopper! Also, they should put that its 8 oz (2 4 oz bottles) cause when reading it, it seemed like i was getting 2x8 oz bottles, when u are getting 2x4 oz bottles.

I purchased this without reading the ingredients because I assumed all gripe water was the same. This brand contains preservatives and many more ingredients than others. I first used “Little Remedies” and it works so well! My baby would cry with gas and a tummy ache from being constipated and would have a HUGE bowel movement within minutes EVERY time! That brand has way less ingredients and no preservatives which is a big plus in my book. Less is more and it served its purpose! Again, I never tried this and I’m only rating it on its ingredients compared to others.

I don’t know how this product has amazing reviews. It is literally just sugar drops. You should taste how sweet it is. I thought it was the fennel or ginger helping colicky babies but no, it’s the sugar. Even if it worked I would never give my newborn anywhere close to the amount recommended on the box. I have an extremely colicky baby that is 4 months now and I was hoping this could be my solution but I don’t think shoving sugar down a baby’s throat every time they are upset is a reasonable option. I think this product is misleading so it claims to help via natural things like ginger and fennel when I could not even taste the slightest hint of those (normally strong flavors). Just be aware that this is working via SUGAR.

This stuff is amazing for baby, tummy upset. It works in a few minutes and a must have for anyone with a baby. If your baby is fussy and you suspect his tummy, use it. It really is awesome and a must have.
