You cant go wrong with this knife. It comes razor sharp. Ive already bought a second one and plan to buy a couple more. Great price too.

Its a cheap little knife that is extremely sharp. Handle and sheath are plastic. Knife easily snaps securely in the sheath. Carbon steel takes a sharper edge and holds it better than stainless, but tarnishes or rusts more readily.

For around $20 you can’t go wrong buying a Mora. Although I do own some higher end custom bushcraft knives my Mora Companion stainless steel version is one of my primary workhorses. This heavy duty carbon steel version just took it up a notch. The fit and finish is perfect and it arrived hair popping sharp. Excellent knife.

It is a very good knife overall. Im not a fan of the fat handle, but then I have small hands. I love Moras, but I have noticed their carbon steel rusts super easy. My Companion HD rusted like crazy when I didnt jump on it fast. I wish they made a stainless version. Moras Sandvik stainless is some of best stainless steel I have ever used.

This is my second MoraKniv. My first is a model 546 with a 3.6 stainless steel blade, so I thought Id try this Companion MG model with a 4 carbon steel blade. Both knives are of comparable and excellent quality. My newest, this Companion MG, has a slightly longer blade and handle. The Companion MG has a slightly thicker blade, is slightly heavier and has a handle that feels rubber-like which provides an excellent grip. Morakniv knives are well known for their sharpness right out of the box and thats certainly true of mine. The high quality of the blade and its potential has prompted me to make a leather strop and order some honing compound so I can keep them as sharp as they came. There are videos on YouTube that show how to do this. These very sharp, tough Swedish made knives seem to do most everything at a fraction of the cost of most American brands most of which are made in China. They also come with excellent molded plastic sheathes with a belt loop that will hang on up to 1 3/4 wide belts. Morakniv offers dozens of different knives many for specific purposes, and I plan to buy more including for gifts. If you want to be impressed go to: morakniv.se/en/ Click on About Us and on Our Production. The entire website is very interesting and well done too.

Morakniv exceeds expectations. Their reputation as a top budget manufacturer is well deserved. Great quality steel, very comfortable to use, and very affordable

Excelent camping/bushcraft/survival knife, lightweight, strong razor blade, easy to sharpen, nice handle with very good grip. I added a lanyard hole and lanyard, and glued a dmt mini diamond sharpener 600 grit to the back of the sheath, covering all with paracord, and then a hair bobble wrap up three times as positive fastening. Best knife for the money period.
