> 3 dayGreat knife from a well reputed company. Mora knives are built solid and last. These are a solid work knife and great for those into bush craft and camping. Takes and hold a sharp edge. The bright color is less military looking, which is often a plus. These knives are partial tang which gathers some dislike in bush craft / survival circles but I know a few folks that have used these mercilessly and they hold up.

> 3 dayNice everyday knife but tarnished after first use on a tuna trip... literally the next day. Wasnt rust but it lost its chrome finish. Didnt lose its edge but was disappointed that the finish discolored so quickly.

> 3 dayI am the keeper of an island in the Florida Keys. It is a bit of a rough life and I do it alone. I wanted a sheath knife to be at my side all the time. I bought one each of the stainless steel and carbon steel. My experience said to get the carbon steel because of the better edge it would maintain. But the saltwater environment said I should get stainless. So now with a couple months with these knives I have my opinions. The primary opinion is that I have never had knives as good as these for general purpose use. They are simple yet trustworthy. They both will take an edge like nothing I have seen before. Now the differneces are simple to explain. My fear of the stainless not taking an edge was unjustified. It will take a razor edge (literally) with a couple swipes on my Smiths Pocket sharpener. The finish is so nice I keep it polished using toothpaste. Remember this a normal, general purpose knife. But is is so nice I love keeping it up. The carbon steel version is equally as robust and has a slightly thicker blade (for what that is worth). It too will take a great edge. But, while it started looking as polished and nice as the stainless, it has definitely suffered the salty, sweaty environment here. For a woodsing adventure the carbon steel version is a fine partner. But do think about your adventure environment. For mine? The stainless steel is a must.

> 3 dayThis is a very rugged and solid knife. I like the size and the feel of it in the hand. It comes with a rugged hard plastic sheath the clips securely to your belt or pocket. The blade is beautiful and sharp. The handle provides a good grip. I cant wait to take it camping and cut something, hopefully not myself.
