> 3 dayI love this knife, holds an edge well, sharpens easily, not a big fan of the sheath but it works. This is a back up knife for my hiking/BoB; it backs up my Kabar BK-22. Its a great widdler and bushcraft knife and is definitely well made

> 3 dayIts super sharp right out of the box, feels great in the hand, and comes at a fair price. I have not had the opportunity to use this in the field too much, but Im sure that it will hold up for my needs.

> 3 dayalright im redoing my review after i got this i didnt really had the chance to use this outside and do actual bush crafting, i go to say that this knife is still sharp yes but i got rust problem, well i took it by the river but the rust came off except in between the end of the knife and the grip looks alright cause it came off but also notice the stain, i thought it come off it didnt well im give this a three star just because of the the cosmetics/looks specifically stains that doesnt come off but good it will be use for some heavy bush crafting of course cosmetics is not a problem unless the the functionality betray me

> 3 dayIf you are new to Mora knives as I was, believe all the hype about them. They have a solid, high quality feel to them and come razor sharp. I accidentally cut my finger on mine, so I can attest first-hand to that. I bought this version mainly because of the thicker blade which I think is a major plus on a bushcraft knife. I like the orange color, and I recommend it to anyone who wants to have some brightness in the drabness of the surrounding forest. The sheath is well made and fits the knife tightly so it wont fall out. The handle may be large as other reviewers have noted, but I have large hands (not huge) and it fit very well, even on the small side, so unless you have tiny hands, dont worry. I have yet to see how this blade performs over time, but so far its been fine. The grind on the blade is interesting, as the sharpness extends into the handle, so it doesnt have any part unsharpened. You can see what Im talking about in the product pictures. Over all, for under twenty dollars this knife cannot be beat. I will be buying and recommending Mora knives to friends and family as gifts in the future.

> 3 dayGreat knife for the price, cant go wrong. Not really a fan of kydex sheaths, but it works just fine and you cant really expect a good leather sheath at this price.

> 3 dayThe Companion HD comes with a rounded spine so I filed mine down enough to throw a spark from a ferrocerium rod. It now has a nice 90 degree edge. Problem solved. Love Mirakniv knives!

> 3 dayI just got back from a camping trip where I used this knife to baton through a bunch of wood to make kindling. It was also sharp enough to make feather sticks and tinder. This knife will replace my Becker BK2 from here on because its lighter, easier to field-sharpen, the sheath is more convenient, and I can see its orange color in the dark. And the price is incredible! Edit July 2016: This knife is still going strong! The sheath still fits snugly and I havent had any issues with the blade or handle. I recommend this knife to my friends.

> 3 dayVery nice quality general purpose fixed-blade knife for the price. The blade was not razor sharp, but acceptable nevertheless. Grip is excellent. Sheath just o.k. Overall, a great value.
