> 24 hourCheap knock off chain breakers, break. The motion pro actually works. It has good instructions and pictures of how to use it.... pretty easy choice here.

> 24 hourUsed this tool on my 2005 Ninja 500 to break the stock endless chain, then install the master link plate on the new chain and flair the rivets. The instructions were very clear, and the construction of the tool was excellent. The fitment of all moving parts was very nice. Comes in a nice compact plastic case (very small overall package that fits neatly in toolbox) and inclusion of a replacement part is nice too.

> 24 hourI didnt use the chain breaker part, since I was getting rid of an old chain, I simply used a dremel cut-off wheel to cut through the link plate. Much simpler that trying to punch out the pin. Every chain breaker Ive looked at had some reviewer complaints that the pin was breaking. I think you have to grind off the head of the pin and be very careful about getting the tool square to the pin for this to work, these chains are used on motorcycles making well over 100HP, so theyre going to be tough. Anyway, enough about that. The tool included a single page instruction sheet in full color that fit into a pocket in the case, showing how to line it up for the various uses. This is a good thing, as there are quite a few combinations. For my use; installing a DID chain and rivet master link, it worked perfectly. You do have to carefully read the instructions, as this has combinations that will work with a variety of chains and types of master links. Great to have that flexibility, as I think Im going to have this tool a long time. Love it, highly recommend it.

> 24 hourWhen I opened the package, all of the threaded bolts were rusted. The bolt that houses the pin was so rusted, the spring would not fall out on its own but had to be pried out. It took about 25 minutes to clean all the threading and re-lubricate. It’s very important that everything is clean and oiled to prevent damage during high torque. The product did come pre-lubed, but it apparently wasn’t affective in preventing rust. Other than that, the tool has been terrific. I’ve broken an OEM 530 chain and the pinhead shows no sign of deformation. It took some convincing, though. Finding the right angle and position can be tricky to break stubborn chains.

> 24 hourAmazing. Absolutely amazing. The only tool you need to break a chain press a master link and peen a rivet. Cannot recommend highly enough. Very well thought out and designed.
