Greater than one weekDoes what it’s supposed to - do yourself a favor and read the directions to figure out which procedure to use for your rivet type

Greater than one weekI tried to go cheap at first. Its wasnt worth it. This tool is worth the money for ease of use, confidence in the integrity of the master link, and longevity of use. If you are looking for an economic solution to regular chain replacement look no further. Just remember to grease all threads and contact surfaces before use.

> 3 dayAfter reviewing many chain breakers here on Amazon, and reading how it should be done. I will say that if you try to break the riveted chain without grinding off the heads, you probably will break the the tool. These pins are hardened steel. I ground off the heads as recommended and this tool pushed the pins right out. It also did a fine job of mushrooming the pins on the new master link. Go slow and read the instructions and you should be fine.

> 3 dayI have worked on bicycles my whole life and after spending a fortune to let the dealer put on a new chain and sprockets for me I figured it was time to learn how to do it myself. I watched the Motion Pro video on YouTube and followed their instructions. I was able to push the pin out of my 525 chain with very little effort. The pressing went perfectly and I measured with a cheap Amazon set of calipers. The press part was easy, you just have to remember to go a little at at time and just dont crush down. This tool is the bomb and worth the money.

> 3 dayIm yet to be convinced about the quality. Tool is simple enough to use once you read the manual and try it out. It takes quiet some strength to flare a new chain assembly which I had to use pliers for, scratching the tool and exposing sharp metal. Perhaps 2 tools would be better, one for disassembling the old chain and one for flaring the new. Delivery from Amazon was very slow

> 3 dayChanged my first chain with this tool yesterday. Everything worked well. They included an extra rivet extraction pin. I didnt file off the rivet heads and had no issues breaking the old chain or removing a link from the new chain.
