> 3 dayWorked perfectly, no issues. Plastic box it came in was broken when received. Thats the reason for the 4 stars.

> 3 dayI have worked on bicycles my whole life and after spending a fortune to let the dealer put on a new chain and sprockets for me I figured it was time to learn how to do it myself. I watched the Motion Pro video on YouTube and followed their instructions. I was able to push the pin out of my 525 chain with very little effort. The pressing went perfectly and I measured with a cheap Amazon set of calipers. The press part was easy, you just have to remember to go a little at at time and just dont crush down. This tool is the bomb and worth the money.

> 3 dayWorks remarkably well. My experience with other chain breakers and riveters has been a mostly hate/hate relationship. This tool however makes it so simple. The only thing that would have made it easier is if I used an air ratchet instead of a regular one.

> 3 dayI had previously ordered the Pit Posse kit to break and rivet a 525 chain on a GSXR 750 and it broke the chain fine, but a part to press the link on was a tight fit in the unit and got stuck. When I tried to hammer it out with a punch it just spread like a rivet (steel very soft) and I couldnt get it out. I didnt feel like drilling it out (plus the part was still broken) so I ordered the Motion Pro PBR. This will do everything the Pit Posse will and less than half the size. Better steel, and I was able to rivet the chain together with no problems. The PBR will also hammer a solid rivet which the Pit Posse and most of the other kits cant. Highly recommend!

> 3 dayMore expensive then the other options on Amazon, but if you want a tool that was built to last forever and can do everything you could ever need in regards to motorcycle/atv/dirtbike chains, this is it.

> 3 dayThis works a treat. Lube those threads so the pin doesnt break. That seems to be one of the main reasons why pins break. Also... despite them saying its not necessary to grind, I would suggest you do if you have a dremel or file handy. In the field, youll have to just risk it. Even for a snap-ring master link, this makes getting even pressure a cinch so you dont risk nicking it up with pliers. Heavy. This will put quite a bit of weight in your pack if you are a light packer like me. I wouldnt consider it a travel tool. Very handy for the garage though.

> 3 dayRiveting tool for the hollow master link broke on the third 525 series chain...for the dollars spent this think should last for many years, not one days usage. Motion Pro will get my next email. Certainly NOT the vendors fault, they delivered right on time and product was correct and if I were to purchase again, I would do so from Lionparts !

> 3 dayI needed this tool to break an old chain and install a new chain with solid style rivet pins. This was not only the best priced option, but sleek looking with an innovative simple design that I thought would last a long time. This chain tool comes in a cool blue blow-mold case to hold everything, and comes with an spare pin which is good. I filed the pin head on the old chain flush with the connecting plate just like on the instructions, and then proceeded to line up the tool correctly to press out the pin. I got about midway through pressing out the old pin when it became pretty difficult to turn the press bolt. I kept turning slowly and the pin finally came out and I was able to get the old chain off. Unfortunately after i took the tool apart to see why it was hard to turn, i saw that the bottom of the bolt that presses against the extractor pin (the third object from the left in the main picture) had broken part of the bottom while in contact with the extractor pin. This tool comes oiled from the factory and I even applied a little grease to the threads to ensure this would not happen. I could not believe that on the very first use of this tool it had a piece break off! There is no replacement for this bolt available from motion pro yet, i dont know if that is because the tool is new or what but i will definitely need to get one soon. I am afraid to use the tool to break another chain, for fear of breaking the tool. Thankfully I could still use the tool to press on the rivet link of the new chain, and was able to start riveting the solid pins, but i need a vice to hold the tool because it is impossible to hold the tool with your hand and rivet the solid pins with a wrench. Also, the quad-stake rivet attachment for riveting solid pins is rectangular in shape and not round as the picture suggests. This is a better design so that the attachment wont spin around while youre trying to rivet those pins straight on. The attachment for riveting hollow-nose pins is round, like in the picture. All in all its a cool compact tool, and i do like its design but was a little disappointed with the strength of the top bolt and Motion Pro needs to have all the pieces available for replacement!

> 3 dayBought this to replace the crappy $25 model I had. Works like a dream, and seems to be very well made. Comes with a nice case to keep it organized and directions for use.
