I was under the impression that this popped off all tires but i think it was intended for dirt bike tires. Tried to do my harley tires and ended up using my vice and c clamps to actually break the bead. The other end is a spoon and its too big to use on my rims without bending the sides of the rim down. Kinda useless to me.

I have dismounted / mounted 5 tires with these Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPros so far. At $35 per mount at a bike shop, they have more than paid for themselves. They provide great leverage and are easy to use. The bead breaker function works amazingly well. After a few bites, the bead pops right off. I have the shorter length. They are more than sufficient, but I can see where the longer ones would be worth the extra money. Would absolutely recommend.

These are short, lightweight tire tools. Their shortness is appropriate to fit in a trail toolkit. There is no other reason not to get the long steel tools that will work much more easily. The lightweight aluminum on these is strong but is no doubt why theyre so expensive. The novel bead-breaker function of the levers works well, but is probably not necessary for dirt bike or dual-sport type tires and wheels. Breaking the bead down is not that hard. Keeping the bead in the drop center is harder, but these dont really help with that. On street wheels with radial street tires, the bead breaker might make a big difference -- I havent tried it. The other end of the tool is a standard tire lever. Its not quite as round as the spoon type. These ends work comparably to the aluminum spoon type from Motion Pro. For a dirt bikes trail kit, I would suggest the 27mm/12-13mm wrench/spoon set (or whatever the axle nut size is for the bike). The 12mm is needed for the bead lock and tire valve stem anyway. Those two spoons are the minimum. Id also suggest at least one Trail Bead Buddy. I cant think of a drawback to these Bead Pro levers, but since the one end of them is probably not needed, theyll work great but not have a place in a minimalist trail tool kit. For a street bike, I really dont recommend any kind of small tire tool. Have a plug kit on the bike for tubeless tires. Get the big tools for the shop.

These things work great. I dont know what these other guys on here are complaining about. I guess they dont know what theyre doing. Ive now changed multiple sets of tires from dirt to street and I havent had a single problem. They break the bead no problem and have paid for themselves.

They are nice quality and do not scratch your rims if you are very careful. The main problem I have is that they are incredibly difficult to use to remove any moderately stiff tire. If you have softer sport or offroad tires these will probably work perfectly but if you have sport touring or touring tires they are not long enough to give you the proper leverage and you will find yourself struggling. If they didnt get marred from using them I would definitely return them and get a set of considerably longer irons

Ive only used this tool once so far since Ive only changed my front tire on my dual sport bike once. This product not only helps break the bead of the tire, but it also can be used as extra spoons. I always carry this on my motorcycle tool kit.

If you debating if the smaller aluminum ones are strong/long enough for your needs. They are. I have broken 17in street tires, 21/18 dot dirt tires (D606), 19/16 dirt tires, 19/16 dot dirt tires (hard side walls) and the hardest yet for some reason a 18in sand tire using the smaller version. I have broken beads using the kickstand method, the 3 spoon method and straight up jumping on it and I would much rather have these. They dont work very well as tire spoons though. They could work in an emergency as spoons but I have a real set of spoons I bring with me as well because these suck as spoons.

These are crazy expensive and worth it. This is my 3rd set as I keep them in several different tool kits.

I purchased this to remove motorcycle tires. It has already been used on lawn equipment. Worked great just as advertised!

I used this on my mountain bike to help remove a tire with Cushcore and orange seal...if you know what these are, then youll understand.
