> 3 dayI wanted to avoid scratching up my fancy gold wheels fitted to the Honda Africa Twin. This was the perfect tool to break the bead easilty and without drama. This coupled with a Baja no pinch makes tire changes a peach.

> 3 dayI have dismounted / mounted 5 tires with these Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPros so far. At $35 per mount at a bike shop, they have more than paid for themselves. They provide great leverage and are easy to use. The bead breaker function works amazingly well. After a few bites, the bead pops right off. I have the shorter length. They are more than sufficient, but I can see where the longer ones would be worth the extra money. Would absolutely recommend.

> 3 dayThese things work great. I dont know what these other guys on here are complaining about. I guess they dont know what theyre doing. Ive now changed multiple sets of tires from dirt to street and I havent had a single problem. They break the bead no problem and have paid for themselves.

> 3 dayThey are nice quality and do not scratch your rims if you are very careful. The main problem I have is that they are incredibly difficult to use to remove any moderately stiff tire. If you have softer sport or offroad tires these will probably work perfectly but if you have sport touring or touring tires they are not long enough to give you the proper leverage and you will find yourself struggling. If they didnt get marred from using them I would definitely return them and get a set of considerably longer irons

> 3 dayDespite having only these to change tires and never doing it before they got the job done! Easy and intuitive to use!

> 3 dayOne of those luxury items that you don’t know you need until you know and then you’ll be cursing yourself for not having a better set.

16-11-2024Im unable to get enough leverage/separation with this tool on my KLR650 tires (front or back). It will pull the bead away, but not enough to retain some space when I pull it out and move it around the rim. The bead goes right back into place when I remove it. Therefore, still have to carry a 5 c-clamp to break & hold the bead, then I use this tool to work the bead off around the rim. Maybe its the geometry of my rims, but this isnt my primary bead break tool for trail riding. Tool is built very strong, but cant rely only this tool.

20-11-2024Works as advertised, sort of. The breaker end is not easy to insert between the tire and rim, you may scratch the paint on an alloy Wheel; it should be a bit wider. Spraying some lubricant solution (soapy water or window cleaner, or any liquid you have...) in the gap as you go will help. Light weight, feels strong.

> 3 dayFirst try was an eye opener! Ive used all sorts of bead breakers over the years and these were by far the easiest. The spoon ends are good as well. They are pricey, but youd pay 10x the price when you are stranded on the side of the trail and have to walk out.

Greater than one weekNeed to be a little longer for better leverage. Not too much longer though.
