Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPro Tire Bead Breaker and Lever Tool Set

I can not believe how easy it was to break to break tbe beads on my motorcycle tires with this set of tools. I wanted the longer steel set but they where out of stock, so i purchased the shorter set of aluminum ones. I used them on the front and rear tires of my harley davidson street glide.

Ive been skeptical about buying a set of these for a few years now. Ive always carried a 6 C-clamp on my Adventure bike to break the bead with. It worked but was heavy and I still had the additional tire irons. After reading several varying reviews I took a chance. Im not overly experienced but only once have I not mounted my own tires in 40 years. I removed my rear Hedienau Scout tire on my 1200 GSA that had 11K miles on it. To my surprise they worked simply and perfectly. No muss no fuss. They are a little scratched up now but then so is my bike. Bottom line they worked perfectly for me.

I wanted to avoid scratching up my fancy gold wheels fitted to the Honda Africa Twin. This was the perfect tool to break the bead easilty and without drama. This coupled with a Baja no pinch makes tire changes a peach.

Dont forget to just work your way around the tire a few times. Youll feel like youre not getting anywhere at first. Dont try to get whole tire off in one spot. Keep circling and prying. Maybe everyone else already knows this but i felt like throwing these things away real fast when I was getting frustrated. Now its not a problem and i hope these last for the rest of my life ❤️

These are lightweight but sturdy and came in incredibly handy when I picked up a nail and had to repair a tire. Great purchase.

Glad i got these, both of them weigh about what one of the steel shop variety does. Good, aggressive bead breaking action, and the spoons on the opposite side are useful, if a bit wide for the curve of 17 rims.

This tool is a must have for the DIY motorcyclist. It made popping the beads on my bikes a breeze come tire changing time. Some have complained about the tools slipping and not breaking the bead. I did have it slip until I realized that I could get more bite after the tire gave a bit. After that, it popped the bead like nothing. Of course, most plebian setups with 2x4s or the like with work at home, but the nice thing about these is that you can take them with you in your bags incase you need to change a tire on a trip! Several of my friends and a few family members have dual sport motorcycles and all of us have the same setup of tools, gear, and these tire levers. Ultra lightweight and well made. Bomber.

The tire levers are strong & light weight. Work well but wish set came with a third lever for the price.
