Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPro Tire Bead Breaker and Lever Tool Set

I used these to break the beads on the tires I removed from my motorcycle recently. I also used them as tire irons. They worked well, and the lighter weight , compared to the steel ones, makes them handy to carry on the bike .

Works great on KLR 650 tires.

Though I have not put these to use yet, just being the tools needed to change a tire on the road/trail seem to be ideal, Just waiting for a tire to change!!!

Paint scrapes easily and too short for easy use. Bead breaker works well though

Ive used many bead breakers. Side stand, c-clamp, best rest etc. I had high hopes for these since the weight is minimal and its simple. It saves me the space and weight of two other irons. They broke the bead on my 150/70-17 Heidenau K60 (F800GSA). It took a few times with line but they broke after three tries. Much faster, lighter and simpler than using any other method. I had heard complaints about the angle of the iron but they worked great. Took me a total of 20 minutes to remove and replace my K60. Use your knees! I can not believe how easy it was to break to break tbe beads on my motorcycle tires with this set of tools. I wanted the longer steel set but they where out of stock, so i purchased the shorter set of aluminum ones. I used them on the front and rear tires of my harley davidson street glide.

I wanted to avoid scratching up my fancy gold wheels fitted to the Honda Africa Twin. This was the perfect tool to break the bead easilty and without drama. This coupled with a Baja no pinch makes tire changes a peach.
