> 3 dayThey work to break the bead and take off a tire but they just need to be a bit longer.

> 3 dayIve been skeptical about buying a set of these for a few years now. Ive always carried a 6 C-clamp on my Adventure bike to break the bead with. It worked but was heavy and I still had the additional tire irons. After reading several varying reviews I took a chance. Im not overly experienced but only once have I not mounted my own tires in 40 years. I removed my rear Hedienau Scout tire on my 1200 GSA that had 11K miles on it. To my surprise they worked simply and perfectly. No muss no fuss. They are a little scratched up now but then so is my bike. Bottom line they worked perfectly for me.

> 3 dayThese are very high quality and very light weight at the same time. With proper technique I was able to get two big, relatively stiff off road tires off the bead of my R1200GSA wheels. I recommend these over the forged steel since they are light enough to carry with you and since they are aluminum, you shouldnt scratch up your wheels quite as much. That said, for difficult tires, you will need three big spoons, but those can be had with rim protectors for around $25. However, these are great for debeading, and removing the tire for softer, radial road tires or dirt bike tires only.

> 3 dayI chose to buy these Aluminum ones over the heavier steel ones. Im glad I made the decision. But the longer length would be nice if weight wasnt an option.

Greater than one weekPaint scrapes easily and too short for easy use. Bead breaker works well though

> 3 dayOne of those luxury items that you don’t know you need until you know and then you’ll be cursing yourself for not having a better set.

> 3 dayThey are too short and leverage suffers because of it. If you need 2 lightweight bead breakers and barely usable tire spoons for the trip, then ok. But get 4.

> 3 dayI wanted to avoid scratching up my fancy gold wheels fitted to the Honda Africa Twin. This was the perfect tool to break the bead easilty and without drama. This coupled with a Baja no pinch makes tire changes a peach.
