Motion Pro 08-0519 BeadPro Tire Bead Breaker and Lever Tool Set

> 3 dayWorks as advertised, sort of. The breaker end is not easy to insert between the tire and rim, you may scratch the paint on an alloy Wheel; it should be a bit wider. Spraying some lubricant solution (soapy water or window cleaner, or any liquid you have...) in the gap as you go will help. Light weight, feels strong.

> 3 dayNeed to be a little longer for better leverage. Not too much longer though.

> 3 dayThe design of the tire iron is great...how they fit together and work. They are strong, but Im a pretty big guy and I did bend one. I tried to straighten it but its curved. Also, do yourself a favor and buy the longer set.

Greater than one weekThey are nice quality and do not scratch your rims if you are very careful. The main problem I have is that they are incredibly difficult to use to remove any moderately stiff tire. If you have softer sport or offroad tires these will probably work perfectly but if you have sport touring or touring tires they are not long enough to give you the proper leverage and you will find yourself struggling. If they didnt get marred from using them I would definitely return them and get a set of considerably longer irons

17-11-2024I am not particularly strong and with these I have no problem breaking the bead of my tires. Worth the price for when Ill have to do it on some isolated track one day.

> 3 dayThese work as advertised. Learn how to change your tires yourself and you can save some serious money. You’ll save money on your first change.

> 3 dayThese are great! I bought them because I wanted irons that would fit into my boxes for touring. Remember .. . tire changing is an art form. If your cant muscle through it youre probably doing it wrong. If you feel you need longer levers, theres probably other things you could be doing to make it easier. I find these to be perfect for the person who wants to be able to change tires in both the garage, and the back country.

> 3 dayDidn’t know there was a difference between the two styles and these aluminum ones are SHORT. If you need ones that actually work for anything bigger than a bicycle tire, get the steel ones.

18-11-2024I wanted to avoid scratching up my fancy gold wheels fitted to the Honda Africa Twin. This was the perfect tool to break the bead easilty and without drama. This coupled with a Baja no pinch makes tire changes a peach.
