> 3 dayI initially had purchased the steel, long version of these. Thye worked very well, but were not good for carrying on the bike when touring (which was my intent). These aluminum ones are what I should have bought in the first place. They are short enough and light enough to stow easily. The steel ones will stay in the garage, and these will go with me when I travel. They very easily break the bead, which is often the most difficult part of changin/repairing tires by hand. Highly recommended.

> 3 daySome time ago I did my first tire change on my motorcycle. It took me almost 6 freaking hours to get those tires off the rims and install them back! Then I decided to invest some money in proper tools as no way I would allow to spent so much time on the trail. So I did. With this tool it took me 30 minutes to do the same operation one more time for both tires. This tool is not made of steel but rather of some sort pretty tough metal (not allow I think) so its lightweight enough to keep it with me while riding all the time. Highly recommend it to all DIY mechanics who prefer to do their tire change on their own! It will save a lot of time!

> 3 dayI used this on my mountain bike to help remove a tire with Cushcore and orange seal...if you know what these are, then youll understand.

Greater than one weekThey are nice quality and do not scratch your rims if you are very careful. The main problem I have is that they are incredibly difficult to use to remove any moderately stiff tire. If you have softer sport or offroad tires these will probably work perfectly but if you have sport touring or touring tires they are not long enough to give you the proper leverage and you will find yourself struggling. If they didnt get marred from using them I would definitely return them and get a set of considerably longer irons

Greater than one weekI purchased this to remove motorcycle tires. It has already been used on lawn equipment. Worked great just as advertised!

Greater than one weekThey work, theyre much better than tire spoons but I wish they were twice as long for better leverage.
