> 3 dayI purchased this water dish because I have the food bowl, its a nice set, very cute. I do wish they would have made the water bowl a tad bit deeper and maybe 1/2 to 1 inch taller. However, both my senior kitty and kitten do love it, especially since the food dish is right next to it, so no more kitty neck strain and this really helps my senior kitty. Its nice that these products are available to help pets eat and drink more comfortably. I do love them both and they also make great gifts for your pet lover!

> 3 dayI have always used some form of stainless steel bowl for water for my cat. I read somewhere that cats prefer to drink from a metal bowl (generally cooler water). However, I got tired of the rust and it was easy for me to kick and spill. So, I decided to try the ceramic (I like my ceramic mugs, so why not?). It is easy to clean, well weighted and cute as can be. Most importantly, my cat took to it immediately.

Greater than one weekOne of our cats passed away this year of cancer, and being not only a large cat but a very sick cat, his head and long cheek hair were hanging in the water when he was feeling at his worst. I do wish I had found this sooner. Now that we have a second cat that is ill of kidney disease, and also a large cat, I am so grateful that he wont have to strain. Our younger cat (completely fit) who is extremely small right now, also has no trouble using it. I definitely appreciate the measurements in that I will be able to keep track of water intake when that will be needed. In addition to the double tier water fountain we bought, our big cat should stay as hydrated as he needs in addition to his Kidney Diet prescription food. Washed beautifully in the top rack of the dishwasher and should last for years. Not thin or junky. We bought the food bowl (smaller but about the same height) as well so our big guy can also eat in comfort.

> 3 daydecided to buy 10 of these for our 10 creatures instead of the large raised food one with a smaller width. Although these are lower to the ground (wish they were same height as food ones though), i thought these would be better for wet food and bigger cats and they are, plus i noticed that base bottom had a depth to it and a decent width opening and thought turning these upside down and using it for the 2tbsp of dry we feed twice a day would work out perfect, which it does (depth is like 1 inch). To make up for height when feeding wetfood, i put these on the 10oz Harmony Ceramic Cat Saucer (https://smile.amazon.com/Harmony-Ceramic-Saucer-Mouse-Print/dp/B074V7KSML/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1523591171&sr=8-2&keywords=Harmony+Ceramic+Cat+Saucer) that are 1 1/2 inches high when turned upside down and it looks like they go together. these were kinda pricey, especially when buying for 10 cats but, i am happy with my 2-in-1 purchase since i can feed dry on one end and not have to wash it when i feed wet food a couple hours later. saves me from having to wash their food dishes 4 times a day, only have to do so twice now! As for it being a water bowl, maybe if you have 1-2 cats that only eat wet-food but, i personally wouldnt even use it as a water bowl if i did only have 2 cats, too small for one to me. All my bowls arrived intact and well protected. only 2 of the bowls had minor manufacturing defects like too much glaze in some areas and a couple bubbles on outside of one, other than that, they were all perfect.. they are on heavy side and awkward to hold when washing, so if you have hand issues and wash your dishes by hand too, it may be a problem for you as well. am actually now considering replacing our old ignored dishwasher just for these for i feel like i am going to break these when i hand wash them!

> 3 dayMy cats rider calls for waterbowls in *every* room of the house, so Im refilling, washing, and walking bowls of water around this place quite frequently. This bowl is perfect for the following reasons: 1. Not plastic or made with harmful chemicals- just plain ol safe ceramic. This means its not only easy to keep clean but also fewer cat-chin-blackheads for my little superstar! 2. Raised, therefore easier on the felines back while drinking. *This is also in my cats rider. 3. And for me- the waterboy- the crucial rim / lip of the bowl designed to reduce spillage and/or spilling betwixt sink and drinking area(s). *Photo disclaimer: Thomas demanded an inordinate fee for posing with any of the raised bowls, and therefore I am forced to post a non-product photo of him.

> 3 dayI have no idea what sets this bowl apart from other water bowls for my cats, but clearly there is some magic voodoo baked into the ceramic because my cat who literally never drank water before drinks out of this one. Before, I needed to add water into her kibble and wet food to ensure that she got enough water daily. I no longer need to supplement her water because she willingly drinks out of this one. I will be purchasing a second one because my cat has been so obsessed with this bowl that shes even gotten territorial over water when before she wouldnt give her water bowl a second glance.

Greater than one weekI didnt think cat bowls would make me so happy but I love these raised ones. I bought two to try then I went back and bought two more (we have two stories and I have a set of bowls for each floor). I was most concerned about the lip that kept the food in. I thought it would be a nightmare to clean (never getting the food out from under the lip) but that is not at all how these are designed. Its not really a lip, but a rolled thicker part of the rim. So yes, it sort of keeps the food from spilling out but its definitely not a hindrance. The designs are so cute and the quality seems very good. Its a heavier bowl but not too heavy. I bought all water bowls even though I use two of them for food. I was worried the bowl wouldnt be big enough to hold the dry for my kitty (he self feeds all day). I really am glad I bought these bowls. They are absolutely perfect.

> 3 dayI thought these raised bowls would be taller, but they are like a regular bowl with short pedestals. I like the quality of these bowls, its durable and easy to clean, it holds about 1.5 cups of water or more. The large sized raised cat/dog bowls are my favorite from this company. I wrote a review for those bowls. If you look at the picture here advertised, the cat has to crouch down to drink or eat. The purpose of having raised bowls is so the cat or dog can sit or stand comfortably while eating or drinking. If you have average size cats or dogs, I recommend the Classy Cat and Dog dishes sold here on Amazon, the height and dish size is perfect for taller animals. Classy Cat and Dog makes a 2.5 cup water bowl, that is perfect size and height. I bought the Classy Cat/Dog dishes for my cats, and I bought these Large raised Cat/Dog bowls for my doggies.
