NECOICHI Raised Cat Water Bowl, Elevated, with Measurement Lines, Dishwasher and Microwave Safe (Cat, Extra Tall)

> 3 dayFor a water dish, this may seem pretty pricey, but I love the raised design it has. In the past, I would use over-sized mugs as water vessels for my cats, they seemed to like drinking out of things that were taller than your average cat dish. Its nice to know how much water my kitties are drinking each day thanks to the measurement lines on the side of the dish. The base is nice and sturdy. One of my cats got into the habit of knocking over the mugs(that were full of water) for no apparent reason, which is why I stopped using mugs. He has not tried to knock this dish over yet. I have it on a food mat, so I wouldnt have to worry about it breaking if he does tip it over at some point. I cant comment on if it helps two of my senior cats drink easier, all 4 of my cats primary source of water is a electric water fountain which is in another room, but this dish is nice to get for those who like to spoil their kitties :)

> 3 dayThis is a lovely bowl, well made and well finished on all sides, but if your purpose for getting it is to have a raised cat bowl, I don’t think it’s quite high enough. The Necoichi line are only raised a few inches, but really should be raised 4+ inches if the purpose is to have the cat’s head above the stomach. It’s better than flat on the ground I suppose. You can see the comparison in the picture to the Premium Raised Bowl, which is about 6 inches high (the cats in the picture are 5 month old kittens). I think this is a fine height for water but would want the food bowls to be higher off the ground.

> 3 daySo we already had 2 Necoichi raised bowls for our cat that we’d bought a few years ago when we got her. We had the medium high food bowl and the slightly lower water bowl. I’d read that cats should drink at a certain height so I bought that one. Octavia was 4 when we got her and is about 6 or so now, so I was concerned when I finally got to see the awkward way she had to crouch to drink water. She wasn’t struggling but she also clearly wasn’t comfortable. As soon as I put this higher water bowl down, she sniffed it and drank from it. That night she drank more water than normal (not in a concerning way). I could see that it was easier for her to drink from it and I’ve noticed that she uses this high one more often than she used to. This makes me happy.

Greater than one weekThis bowl is well made, and I like the fact that I can see how much water my cat drinks with the measured lines inside the bowl. The only downside is that it needs to be a little taller. The height is barely higher than a regular bowl.

> 3 dayI have no idea what sets this bowl apart from other water bowls for my cats, but clearly there is some magic voodoo baked into the ceramic because my cat who literally never drank water before drinks out of this one. Before, I needed to add water into her kibble and wet food to ensure that she got enough water daily. I no longer need to supplement her water because she willingly drinks out of this one. I will be purchasing a second one because my cat has been so obsessed with this bowl that shes even gotten territorial over water when before she wouldnt give her water bowl a second glance.

> 3 daydecided to buy 10 of these for our 10 creatures instead of the large raised food one with a smaller width. Although these are lower to the ground (wish they were same height as food ones though), i thought these would be better for wet food and bigger cats and they are, plus i noticed that base bottom had a depth to it and a decent width opening and thought turning these upside down and using it for the 2tbsp of dry we feed twice a day would work out perfect, which it does (depth is like 1 inch). To make up for height when feeding wetfood, i put these on the 10oz Harmony Ceramic Cat Saucer (https://smile.amazon.com/Harmony-Ceramic-Saucer-Mouse-Print/dp/B074V7KSML/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1523591171&sr=8-2&keywords=Harmony+Ceramic+Cat+Saucer) that are 1 1/2 inches high when turned upside down and it looks like they go together. these were kinda pricey, especially when buying for 10 cats but, i am happy with my 2-in-1 purchase since i can feed dry on one end and not have to wash it when i feed wet food a couple hours later. saves me from having to wash their food dishes 4 times a day, only have to do so twice now! As for it being a water bowl, maybe if you have 1-2 cats that only eat wet-food but, i personally wouldnt even use it as a water bowl if i did only have 2 cats, too small for one to me. All my bowls arrived intact and well protected. only 2 of the bowls had minor manufacturing defects like too much glaze in some areas and a couple bubbles on outside of one, other than that, they were all perfect.. they are on heavy side and awkward to hold when washing, so if you have hand issues and wash your dishes by hand too, it may be a problem for you as well. am actually now considering replacing our old ignored dishwasher just for these for i feel like i am going to break these when i hand wash them!

> 3 dayIt’s it’s the right height for my kitty. It has markers inside to see how much water your cat is drinking - very helpful. Although it’s listed as a no spill lip, my cat manages to spill over the side when she drinks so I set it on a plate to catch the water.

03-12-2024Whod have thought it but this raised cat dish stopped our cat dropping food outside of her dish. I bought 2 of these - one for water and one (same size) for her wet food. I use a disposable dish inside of the dish for the wet cat food. There is much less mess plus I noticed she now eats all of her food - before she would eat maybe half of her food and leave the rest. I hand wash the bowls in hot water, they come up great. Not paid for this review, just want other pet owners to know these bowls worked for me.

Greater than one weekGreat water bowl for cats who like to eat or drink from a raised bowl. Comes with a rubber ring for the bottom of the bowl.

> 3 dayI bought these bowls to make eating and drinking easier for my elderly Maine Coon cat. The extra tall water bowl is the perfect height and size for my large cat. The fact that they are microwave and dishwasher safe is an important feature for me. I am ecstatic that the claims for minimizing regurgitation are absolutely true! The only time my cat has thrown up since purchasing them was due to a hair ball. After two weeks of use, my brother and his family were so impressed that they also bought them for their cat.
