Very, high quality. Yeah, her water bowl is more expensive than my dining set. She loves it and still does not allow me to pick her up.

No more water hassle for our kitty! We had a true issue with our fellow knocking over his dish. Found out he couldn’t drink out of his bowl-any we tried!!! So we came upon Nechoichi and whisker sensitively dishes they sell and viola! Problem solved! This dish even has water level marks to see how much he has drank. He doesn’t knock over his water any longer. So nice to know we could help him with this issue. We have purchased two more dishes for wet and dry food as well.

This water bowl is awesome. The design of the rim really does prevent my cat from getting any water outside the bowl, so I no longer need to keep a napkin under the bowl to catch this (she likes her water on the end table, not the floor). She took to it immediately. She was recently diagnosed with early chronic kidney disease, so the measurements printed on the inside of the bowl are very helpful to keep an eye on how much shes drinking. The bowl itself is very sturdy so I dont have be be worried about it chipping, or be any more careful than I would with any other bowl. From a design standpoint, Ive finally found a bowl that was clearly designed with the viewpoint of what a cat would want in mind, not what a human thinks a cat wants (or decides what is most cheaply and easily produced). Careful thought and consideration went into this design - obviously by people who love cats! I wish I had come across this years earlier! Its the best water bowl Ive ever had.

My cat and I recently moved to a new state, which was understandably stressful for him. He seemed to be settling in okay, but, for whatever reason, he refused to drink the water in our new home. He would only drink water if I cupped it in my hands, and he wasnt getting nearly enough, so I was quite concerned, especially as he normally drinks a lot. I tried everything the vet suggested, but it got to the point where he would only drink water if I mixed it with tuna or canned food. I bought this bowl mainly because I wanted to measure how much liquid he was actually taking in, but it ended up being the magic solution. I dont know if it was just coincidence, but he drank and drank the second I filled up this bowl and put it down. Its been a few months and hes completely back to normal, but this is still far and away his preferred dish. Hes a pretty big guy, and I think he really likes not having to hunch way over to reach his water. He also loves playing in his water bowls and regularly drowning his mousies, so its great to have a sturdy bowl that he cant knock over (and he tries). Its a little pricy, but I highly recommend this bowl!

    Greater than one week

Earlier I had purchased the raised Necoichi raised food bowl for one of my cats that was hit by a car when he was a kitten. He lost his right front leg and his jaw was broken and his jaw is still a bit crooked. He eats by turning his head so he gets a better bite and the raised bowl helps him a lot. He also is prone to urinary issues so when I saw the water bowl I got that as well. He did drink only from a fountain but now will use the raised bowl as well. Both are good products, easily cleaned and make eating and drinking for my little buddy a lot easier.

One of my cats likes to drink water on the bathroom countertop so instead of drinking water out of a plastic cup, I got this water bowl and he loves it. The bowl is easy to clean and I wash it by hand. Great product that looks pretty too.

A week ago my husband and I adopted a young male tabby from a shelter in Boston, who looks like a skinny sibling of the cat pictured in this marketing photo. Kyle is the sweetest, most loving cat, and loves to be held and petted. He is not finicky about his food, and eats like a friends Labrador retriever, wolfing down not only his portion of wet food in the evening, but also his dry allotment in the morning which we hoped he would nibble on throughout the day. While this behavior might be due to the fact of his being found as a stray and never knew where his next meal would come from, Kyle has also become attached to his bowls. As we also have a weekend home in Maine, we bought an identical set of bowls once we knew that he like eating and drinking from these. I now need to order additional sets for Boston and Maine, as Kyle meowed loudly and acted very upset when he saw me place the bowls in the dishwasher -- perhaps fearful that the bowls wouldnt come back and host another meal for him again. Even when we hand wash the bowls in the sink, he gets upset whenever these are removed from his eating mat -- so to abate this trauma, we need to swap out the bowls while the others are being washed While hopefully Kyle will soon trust that he will never starve again and wont continue to meow for food all day, he has truly bonded with his food bowl and will rub against it (and lick the bottom and sides of it, though not a morsel or speck of food is left) throughout the day.

I have an older model of this item thats a tad shorter and my cats loved it. They wont use this one at all, and I dont know why! I guess its just the wrong height. I think their whiskers touch the edges too much? Nice ceramic material

These bowls (I bought 2 raised food bowls too) arrived on time and in good shape. My sis is having trouble with her cat drinking so little its constipated. I brought my 2 adopted cats home 1 week ago and they are drinking from this bowl with no problem. The bowl is well made and weighted properly that it doesnt tip over. Its larger than the food bowls and is marked inside where the water goes so I can keep track of water consumed. The food bowls are great also. My cats are large and its nice that they dont have to eat with their heads bent so far down. If by chance I break any of them, I would definitely purchase again.
