04-12-2024This bowl was not a necessity but I took an extreme liking to the idea of providing Hazel (my cat) with a more suitable feeding/drinking station, so this product sat in my cart for about a month or two. After reading many reviews and viewing all the customer photographs I decided to get the Extra Tall water bowl because I noticed from the photos that the water bowl was not only lower than the other dishes but it is deeper as well. I am happy with my educated purchase and I bought it with the large food bowl as well. The measurements inside the bowl allow you to monitor how much water your cat intakes each day. I am beyond satisfied with the quality of this product.

> 3 dayThis product is smaller than expected. I read some reviews saying this but they did not have photos so I didnt listen. I should have. I got this bowl for water to replace my cat fountain that I got tired of scrubbing the mold out of. I was expecting a large bowl, the size of the bowl that restaurants would serve noodle soup in, something at least double the size of my cats face. I wanted a big bowl because I have two cats and I wanted something big and solid with a heavy base so the cats wont tip it over. My one cat also likes to wash her face sometimes, so I wanted a kitty sink. The bowl turned out to be about the same diameter as my cats regular food bowls. There is a marking inside the bowl for up to 300ml. 300ml is slightly over a cup! The photos by other reviewers and the stock photo are misleading because they are all taken with smaller kittens less than one year old. Compared to my 3 year old cats (who weight 11 and 15 pounds) and their current food bowls, this bowl is too tiny for water! The raised portion of the bowl adds like an inch, doesnt really do much. Overall the bowl is sturdy and looks well made, but I cant believe I paid $17 for this. It looks like something I would eat rice (Im Asian) in and a designer bowl of this size from a hipster store like Anthropologie only costs $14.

> 3 dayI bought this to use as a kibble bowl for one of our older cats. Since that time, hes migrated to eating mostly wet food due to the loss of all of his teeth. (Poor guy!). What Ive found is that if I turn the bowl upside down, its easier to use for wet food as it keeps the food in a smaller and more contained area. If I put the wet food in the larger part of the bowl, the food just gets pushed around. The underside of the bowl holds a fair amount of wet food, and Im really happy with it. As an aside, we do have a few of the smaller bowls (ones that are marketed for food vs water), and those work great as well.

> 3 dayLove these bowls! I also purchased the matching food bowl, and my kitty who has digestive issues is doing much better now. I do have to watch how much I feed him but his issue has definitely gotten better with the raised bowls. They are high quality and look so pretty in my kitchen. Im very happy with this purchase!

> 3 dayI’m a new cat mom, I just learned about whisker fatigue so I’m glad a wide version is available. This elevated water bowl helps keep my kitty cat from having to strain to drink water. I also purchased this brand’s wide & elevated food bowl. I have no issues with the capacity - I only have to refill it every 3 days or so. Just as pictured. I definitely recommend this product!

Greater than one weekNo more water hassle for our kitty! We had a true issue with our fellow knocking over his dish. Found out he couldn’t drink out of his bowl-any we tried!!! So we came upon Nechoichi and whisker sensitively dishes they sell and viola! Problem solved! This dish even has water level marks to see how much he has drank. He doesn’t knock over his water any longer. So nice to know we could help him with this issue. We have purchased two more dishes for wet and dry food as well.

> 3 dayBoth the cat and I love this. The fill lines make it really easy to monitor liquid intake, and the mouth is wide enough that the cat isnt always splashing water all over. We liked it enough that I bought a second one a year later.

> 3 dayI have had the smaller version of this bowl for a long time and used them for my cats wet food. I recently lost one of my cats. so wanted smaller dry food and water bowl. I initially got stainless steel bowls, and my remaining cat hated them. Thats when I got these bowl, and he loves them. As I mentioned, I have had the smaller ones for quite some time, antd they are really tough. I have banged them and knocked them on things that would have broken other bowls...not even a chip! They clean easily, by hand or in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend these bowls, I love them.
