NECOICHI Raised Cat Water Bowl, Elevated, with Measurement Lines, Dishwasher and Microwave Safe (Cat, Extra Tall)

> 3 dayThis bowl is well made, and I like the fact that I can see how much water my cat drinks with the measured lines inside the bowl. The only downside is that it needs to be a little taller. The height is barely higher than a regular bowl.

> 3 dayI bought this, plus 2 others, for my small cat, in hopes her increased vomiting would cease. I ended up using this one for dry food, using the extra wide one for canned, and had to order another larger one for water. Its been about 3 weeks now, and while Ive still found a few random pukes around, I think it has worked. Good thing, b/c I spent over $60 on 4 dishes. Considering she was throwing up both canned and dry food, I think it was worth it.

> 3 dayThis water bowl is awesome. The design of the rim really does prevent my cat from getting any water outside the bowl, so I no longer need to keep a napkin under the bowl to catch this (she likes her water on the end table, not the floor). She took to it immediately. She was recently diagnosed with early chronic kidney disease, so the measurements printed on the inside of the bowl are very helpful to keep an eye on how much shes drinking. The bowl itself is very sturdy so I dont have be be worried about it chipping, or be any more careful than I would with any other bowl. From a design standpoint, Ive finally found a bowl that was clearly designed with the viewpoint of what a cat would want in mind, not what a human thinks a cat wants (or decides what is most cheaply and easily produced). Careful thought and consideration went into this design - obviously by people who love cats! I wish I had come across this years earlier! Its the best water bowl Ive ever had.

04-12-2024We have several Necoichi bowls now. The cats like them all. I cant say that having elevated food and water bowls has cut down the vomiting one of them does, nor has it magically stopped the other from sticking his paw in the water and flicking water around the room. But theyre nice sturdy, attractive bowls I recommend (always good to find ceramics not glazed with lead). I just wish this company would have put drainage holes in the bottom stand because its gross to open the dishwasher and find a half cup of foul-looking water collected in the inverted base. I always wind up hand washing again after that, not just the bowl but whatever dishes the water sloshed on while I was getting out the bowl.

> 3 dayI bought this to use as a kibble bowl for one of our older cats. Since that time, hes migrated to eating mostly wet food due to the loss of all of his teeth. (Poor guy!). What Ive found is that if I turn the bowl upside down, its easier to use for wet food as it keeps the food in a smaller and more contained area. If I put the wet food in the larger part of the bowl, the food just gets pushed around. The underside of the bowl holds a fair amount of wet food, and Im really happy with it. As an aside, we do have a few of the smaller bowls (ones that are marketed for food vs water), and those work great as well.

> 3 daydecided to buy 10 of these for our 10 creatures instead of the large raised food one with a smaller width. Although these are lower to the ground (wish they were same height as food ones though), i thought these would be better for wet food and bigger cats and they are, plus i noticed that base bottom had a depth to it and a decent width opening and thought turning these upside down and using it for the 2tbsp of dry we feed twice a day would work out perfect, which it does (depth is like 1 inch). To make up for height when feeding wetfood, i put these on the 10oz Harmony Ceramic Cat Saucer (https://smile.amazon.com/Harmony-Ceramic-Saucer-Mouse-Print/dp/B074V7KSML/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1523591171&sr=8-2&keywords=Harmony+Ceramic+Cat+Saucer) that are 1 1/2 inches high when turned upside down and it looks like they go together. these were kinda pricey, especially when buying for 10 cats but, i am happy with my 2-in-1 purchase since i can feed dry on one end and not have to wash it when i feed wet food a couple hours later. saves me from having to wash their food dishes 4 times a day, only have to do so twice now! As for it being a water bowl, maybe if you have 1-2 cats that only eat wet-food but, i personally wouldnt even use it as a water bowl if i did only have 2 cats, too small for one to me. All my bowls arrived intact and well protected. only 2 of the bowls had minor manufacturing defects like too much glaze in some areas and a couple bubbles on outside of one, other than that, they were all perfect.. they are on heavy side and awkward to hold when washing, so if you have hand issues and wash your dishes by hand too, it may be a problem for you as well. am actually now considering replacing our old ignored dishwasher just for these for i feel like i am going to break these when i hand wash them!

> 3 dayThis extra tall version is even better than the original version that I already had. Our old cats use it and seem to prefer it over all other water bowls. They are also nice looking and extremely good quality plus easy to clean.

> 3 dayI didnt think cat bowls would make me so happy but I love these raised ones. I bought two to try then I went back and bought two more (we have two stories and I have a set of bowls for each floor). I was most concerned about the lip that kept the food in. I thought it would be a nightmare to clean (never getting the food out from under the lip) but that is not at all how these are designed. Its not really a lip, but a rolled thicker part of the rim. So yes, it sort of keeps the food from spilling out but its definitely not a hindrance. The designs are so cute and the quality seems very good. Its a heavier bowl but not too heavy. I bought all water bowls even though I use two of them for food. I was worried the bowl wouldnt be big enough to hold the dry for my kitty (he self feeds all day). I really am glad I bought these bowls. They are absolutely perfect.

> 3 dayNo more water hassle for our kitty! We had a true issue with our fellow knocking over his dish. Found out he couldn’t drink out of his bowl-any we tried!!! So we came upon Nechoichi and whisker sensitively dishes they sell and viola! Problem solved! This dish even has water level marks to see how much he has drank. He doesn’t knock over his water any longer. So nice to know we could help him with this issue. We have purchased two more dishes for wet and dry food as well.
