> 3 dayThis water bowl is awesome. The design of the rim really does prevent my cat from getting any water outside the bowl, so I no longer need to keep a napkin under the bowl to catch this (she likes her water on the end table, not the floor). She took to it immediately. She was recently diagnosed with early chronic kidney disease, so the measurements printed on the inside of the bowl are very helpful to keep an eye on how much shes drinking. The bowl itself is very sturdy so I dont have be be worried about it chipping, or be any more careful than I would with any other bowl. From a design standpoint, Ive finally found a bowl that was clearly designed with the viewpoint of what a cat would want in mind, not what a human thinks a cat wants (or decides what is most cheaply and easily produced). Careful thought and consideration went into this design - obviously by people who love cats! I wish I had come across this years earlier! Its the best water bowl Ive ever had.

> 3 dayIve always felt my kitties should not have to always stoop to drink their water and used a water cup by the sink. I did switch to a bowl and then recently saw this Necoichci bowl which is the best of both worlds. We left her water dish out and let her decide which one she wanted to use more. After a few days she started using the Necoichi bowl so we retired the other one.

02-12-2024It is very thick ceramic I dropped it pretty hard on the first day, didnt crack or chip. My fur baby loves it and will only eat from this bowl & will not accept substitute bowls! So you may want to buy multiple of these as trying to keep only 1 cleaned for daily use is a chore. They are expensive and I think maybe $15 would be a more reasonable price but it is a quality bowl. Been through the dishwasher many times now, no fading of the print, wear or chipping. Make sure you buy the tall one!

> 3 dayI bought this to use as a kibble bowl for one of our older cats. Since that time, hes migrated to eating mostly wet food due to the loss of all of his teeth. (Poor guy!). What Ive found is that if I turn the bowl upside down, its easier to use for wet food as it keeps the food in a smaller and more contained area. If I put the wet food in the larger part of the bowl, the food just gets pushed around. The underside of the bowl holds a fair amount of wet food, and Im really happy with it. As an aside, we do have a few of the smaller bowls (ones that are marketed for food vs water), and those work great as well.

> 3 dayThis is a Wonderful water bowl for cats!! Its great for my 18 year old in the first picture, so she doesnt have to bend over very far to drink, which makes it so much more comfortable for her to get a drink of water due to the nice height of the bowl. And the ceramic material must be high quality because my other girl in the other two pictures will ONLY drink water Fresh from the faucet!!! Until now!! Now she drinks from this bowl, which is such a relief since I like to go camping on the weekends and was concerned she wasnt getting enough to drink because I wasnt home to turn on the faucet for her. Now I know shes getting enough water, since she likes drinking from this bowl!! Thank you for making a great quality product!! And my kitties thank you too!!

> 3 dayMy cat and I recently moved to a new state, which was understandably stressful for him. He seemed to be settling in okay, but, for whatever reason, he refused to drink the water in our new home. He would only drink water if I cupped it in my hands, and he wasnt getting nearly enough, so I was quite concerned, especially as he normally drinks a lot. I tried everything the vet suggested, but it got to the point where he would only drink water if I mixed it with tuna or canned food. I bought this bowl mainly because I wanted to measure how much liquid he was actually taking in, but it ended up being the magic solution. I dont know if it was just coincidence, but he drank and drank the second I filled up this bowl and put it down. Its been a few months and hes completely back to normal, but this is still far and away his preferred dish. Hes a pretty big guy, and I think he really likes not having to hunch way over to reach his water. He also loves playing in his water bowls and regularly drowning his mousies, so its great to have a sturdy bowl that he cant knock over (and he tries). Its a little pricy, but I highly recommend this bowl!

> 3 dayNice deep, sturdy bowl with good height. One thing they could improve on is the non-slip base. It’s a slip-on silicone ring that can be difficult to reinstall after washing the bowl. The best anti-slip base we’ve seen on another bowl we own is a bead of silicone applied directly to the base ring that is permanently stuck to it.

> 3 dayI have had the smaller version of this bowl for a long time and used them for my cats wet food. I recently lost one of my cats. so wanted smaller dry food and water bowl. I initially got stainless steel bowls, and my remaining cat hated them. Thats when I got these bowl, and he loves them. As I mentioned, I have had the smaller ones for quite some time, antd they are really tough. I have banged them and knocked them on things that would have broken other bowls...not even a chip! They clean easily, by hand or in the dishwasher. I would highly recommend these bowls, I love them.

> 3 dayIt’s it’s the right height for my kitty. It has markers inside to see how much water your cat is drinking - very helpful. Although it’s listed as a no spill lip, my cat manages to spill over the side when she drinks so I set it on a plate to catch the water.

04-12-2024So we already had 2 Necoichi raised bowls for our cat that we’d bought a few years ago when we got her. We had the medium high food bowl and the slightly lower water bowl. I’d read that cats should drink at a certain height so I bought that one. Octavia was 4 when we got her and is about 6 or so now, so I was concerned when I finally got to see the awkward way she had to crouch to drink water. She wasn’t struggling but she also clearly wasn’t comfortable. As soon as I put this higher water bowl down, she sniffed it and drank from it. That night she drank more water than normal (not in a concerning way). I could see that it was easier for her to drink from it and I’ve noticed that she uses this high one more often than she used to. This makes me happy.
