This product is awesome for the price and works awesome

I have been looking for smart switch with VLAN capabilities with more than 4/5 ports that wasnt hilariously overpriced. This fit the bill.

Easy to use, just plug and play. But when one of the ports died after about 7 months, I called Netgear as this has a year warranty. Yes they will replace it, BUT I have to send it to them at my expense, and then they send a new one. So, meanwhile my wired network would be disconnected for the several weeks this takes to play out. OR, for $20 they will send me a new one first, and then they pay for the return shipping of the old one I guess. Cool, except the switch costs roughly $20. So money-wise I would be the same just buying a new one myself. I can understand Netgear not wanting to get ripped off by sending me a new one first, and providing a return shipping label prepaid for me to send the old one back, only to have me not send the old one. Perhaps they could set it up so they bill me if they dont get the old one back in like 2 or 3 weeks? Would make more sense to me, as far as them honoring the year warranty. Disappointing they approach it how they are. Netgear is my usual go-to, but Ill have to look at a few of the other tech brands as well, and see how they are reviewed these days.

Our old switch was not delivering the 150+ speed coming in from our new cable provider. As soon as the old unit was swapped with this new unit, the network PCs were running internet apps 10x+++ faster. Perfect size and speed for my department

Working very well. The only inconvenient part is the power connection in front.

Had it setup in 5 minutes. This is just a switch, it give you more ports to connect to, no more, no less. Router-to Netgear Switch, turn on and you are going. Compact, metal and sturdy.

Just plug in devices and they can all communicate. I hooked up a bunch of devices to this switch and hooked the other end up to my router and theres been no issues. Everything just worked. High quality product that Id buy again if I ever need another.

Had problem sharing a connection to AT&T gateway with DVR carrying IPTV traffic using a unmanaged switch. The GS308E solved the problem. No more loss of connection to ATT-UVerse
