Good for a home switch to lighten the number of devices on wifi. Also would definitely recommend going with the 8 port instead of the 4 for future-proofing

The purpose of getting this switch was to connect it to a cable modem, then to 2 WiFi routers spread in a way to provide coverage to the 2 corners of the house. It worked flawlessly.

Plug and play. Works great. Used with RaspPi, various laptops and desktops. No issues

Product is great, easy to use and install

This is my go-to ethernet switch. I use several switches of this model throughout my house to supply all rooms with gigabit ethernet connections. These switches are critical since nearly everyone works from home now. Only an old 5-port Netgear switch has ever failed, and even then it was probably because I wasnt using any sort of UPS or surge protector. So I cant really blame it all that much. But since using UPSs on all critical electronics, they have never again failed.

I like it it’s perfect

The GS308E served its purpose perfectly and pleasantly surprised me with its capabilities. I purchased this switch expecting two things: gigabit speeds and VLAN capability. The switch delivered both of those as well as other features such as bandwidth limiting and QoS.

So far better insight and performance cables box. Still would like better knowledge of throughput load balancing.
