I upgraded my internet speed for multiple video users during online learning. WiFi wont solve my drop issue. I bought this switch and wired to the laptops. It works as expected. No more drops during conference call. Installation was easy and technical support was not needed.

just plug it in………….and its made of metal not plastic.heat dissipates better

Purportedly switch management was available on VLAN1 and only VLAN1. BUT THIS IS NOT THE CASE WITH MY GS305E (firmware V1.00.05EN most recent as of today).

This is the unmanaged version so you just have to plug it in and it works. Need a switch to service several devices? This is for you.

I did some work replacing a router and needed a switch. I bought this product based on previous experience with Netgear. I was not disappointed. Plugged in all my devices, and all was good to go. What more can I say, except this product makes my life so much easier. Wish everything in tech-world worked as flawlessly!

I bought this in January 2020, and today, May 3, 2021, it stopped working. I have checked all the cords and they are functioning just fine. I called, but their customer service phone line cuts out and then hangs up, so I cant get them to check the hardware from their end. This is not nearly a long enough time for this item to function before quitting, in my opinion. I shouldnt have to buy a new one every yr. It doesnt even have any moving parts; it just sits there. Ill have to find another brand I guess. I really like the size and unobtrusiveness of the box, and that it seems heavy-duty and sturdy. Apparently not.

Great switch! It gives me the gigabit speed I need for my small business and was ready to go OOBX.

The switch has metal case and its jot noisy at all. Plenty of inputs. I paired it with a Nighthawk router. Would recomend.

Really well built and works well. Just to plug in the cables I wanted and everything worked. Really easy to use!
