Works great! As advertised!

Buyers Beware, I registered the product within the 90 days that they require but the warranty for this product doesnt last 6 months as mine died on me in less than 6 months. No options are available to replace I always though at least a year. Shame on me. I will never buy another Netgear product unless their warranty policy changes. I have switches from DLink and Linksys still working after 3 years leads me to believe Netgear makes cheap products that they know will fail or theyd have better support.

Its a unmanaged switch, what can go wrong. I have about 6 of them and all seem to just work.

Ive been using this switch for about 3 years now and have had zero issues. I ran a Cat6 cable from my router to another room where I have this switch mounted to my entertainment center. This cable is about 35 feet. I have Comcast as my ISP and getting 1 GB download speeds. All of my devices connected to this switch are seeing the full 1 GB speed. What else can I say? Its reliable and it just works as advertised.

Got it managing 10 nodes of intense traffic (mostly to an Access database) and its been doing great. Network speed increased up to 5 times using Intel and Netgears network adapters. No problem uplinking or with mixed 100 and 1000 mbps computers working at the same time.
