> 24 houri bought 3rd party controllers which didnt connect wirelessly to switch no matter what i did. so i used them with cable connection but it often dropped the connection. i gave this controller a try. i was hesitant at first because of the price but what a difference it made! it connected to switch without any issues for the first try. it doesnt drop the connection and it works great. it is definitely worth the price.

> 24 hourOne thing that held me up from playing our Switch were the terrible controllers that come with it. For my large hands, they are impossible to use singly, and even when mounted together, the spacing is way off and strange. With Smash Brothers Ultimate being released in December, these controllers were a necessity. They fit the hands nicely, they are well built, and I feel like I have finer control over any game I play. Docked one star for the cost. Seriously, Nintendo? Drop $20 off the cost and Id give five stars. One nice feature is that they can be charged with a common USB-C cable, meaning that we no longer have to spend money on proprietary power supplies.

> 24 hourI play the Switch on my TV because my eyesight is not as good as it used to be. Love playing the role-playing games that Nintendo has. This controller was very easy to meld with my switch game, I can charge it on my computer and makes playing the games a lot easier for an older guy.

> 24 hourI started by purchasing four generic pro controllers within the $20-$30 range. When the Nintendo pro controller dropped to $60, I decided to get one to compare. You get what you pay for. The Nintendo one just feels smoother and higher quality. Well see how long it lasts...

> 24 hourAlmost everything about this controller is perfect. The sticks feel as good as an Xbox One controller. The A B X Y buttons are perfectly sized and feel great to press. The only down side is the D-Pad. If youre looking for a controller with a good D-Pad this is not the controller for you. Inputs are not as precise as you want and its a little too spongey. My other minor issue it the layout of the Plus, Minus, Home, and Screenshot buttons. When playing games like BoTW and fortnite I find myself accidentally pressing the screen shot rather than minus that would bring up the map. Not the biggest issues but I thought it to be notable. All in all a great controller for switch.

> 24 hourIf youre even considering to buy a Nintendo Switch, this Pro Controller is essential to enjoying the switch. Firstly, it gives you another method of playing switch games. While the joycons are fine for most games, and even are better in some games (Puyo Puyo Tetris) every other game just feels so much better with the Pro Controller. The sticks are much bigger and comfortable on the Pro Controller, and everything is positioned and slanted in such a way that it feels AMAZING to hold in your hands. Some may complain that the triggers arent analog, but they feel really nice too and have their own feel that is still great. If you need a second controller, or are looking for a better game to play your games, you NEED this.

> 24 hourThe joy cons that come with the Switch are total garbage. Besides the inevitable drift you’ll eventually get that will make the Joy Cons unusable, they’re really uncomfortable to hold, and the sticks and buttons feel awful. The Pro Controllers are the total opposite. They feel great, work great and keep a charge for a really long time.

> 24 hourI LOVE this controller! Its high quality make and speak design go lightyears beyond any joy on controller that comes packaged in with the switch. Its perfect if you play any hardcore games on switch like Darksouls, a fighting games, or even Breath of the Wild. The buttons have phenomenal push sensitivity. I know there are othe more affordable 3rd party alternatives to this control bit I assure you if you pay the (at the moment) Amazon price of $50 you wont regret it. Tbh Im probably buying a second one sooner than later.

> 24 hourI know, I know... blasphemy, right? I am more of a traditional console gamer and I like the solid feel of the Pro controllers. I have three Pro controllers and three sets of Joycons. My kids and I choose the Pro controllers over the Joycons almost every time. Not that the Joycons are bad, but Ive found that I have a harder time getting them to sync and they dont feel as solid. The Pro is a nicely designed controller that really feels good in the hand. Of course, there are certain games that only use the Joycons, but they are few. The rest of the time our Joycons are paired together to act as full controllers anyways, so... save yourself the money and get a Pro controller. You wont be sorry.
