> 3 dayThis is the official brand pro controller for the Nintendo Switch. In layout, it is very similar to an Xbox 360/One controller, with the exception of the ABXY buttons being changed around a bit. Ergonomically, it is very comfortable to hold, which is surprising since I have very small hands. However, the comfort of a controller is very subjective, so the only real way you will know is if you hold one for yourself. The controller is very easy to connect to the Nintendo Switch console or a PC and has a great wireless range. The controller includes a lithium-ion battery that has a killer battery life of 40 hours, which is so long that sometimes I forget I even have to charge this thing and get shocked when a low battery warning shows up on the screen. The $70 MSRP of the controller seems very steep, but for the comfort, battery life, gyro, and NFC reader, it is worthwhile if you play your Switch a lot. Since its $50 rn, I would recommend it even more.

> 3 dayEverything is good, the only problem I have, that is extremely trivial is the D-pad, it’s too sensitive, meaning that if you want to go D-Pad down, you may run into hitting a diagonal instead. Kind of a downgrade from the joycon dpad

> 3 dayI like playing with an actual controller instead of the joycons in docked mode and it work perfectly for that just wish the price would be lower and buttons lack tactile feedback especially the triggers.

> 3 dayI used to be like pretty much everyone else with controllers: Xbox 360/one/s were the gold standards. However, this is my favorite now. It feels much more solid despite how it looks. Everything is in the same general format but for some reason its easier for me to use. You can even use it with Steam if your PC has bluetooth! There are only a few issues: Sometimes this does not turn off on its own even after disconnecting this from PC The triggers are binary; youll still want to stick with the Xbox controllers for games that require a certain amount of activation (e.g. racing games). The A/B and X/Y buttons are swapped (probably for patent reasons or something) so you will have to configure how the controller works on Steam. If you switch back and forth between the Switch and an Xbox controller, it gets VERY confusing. All in all, this is the controller I like to use for Smash, BOTW, and PC gaming.

> 3 dayI bought this 16 months ago and have used it daily since. I have reached hours and hours of gameplay and the think still looks brand new. Even after 16 months battery life is around 15 to 20 hours. No drift on this so far, and I have had it longer than my last pair of Joy-Cons. If you want a Switch Controller that will last and not make you drop $60 again in a year or so this is the way to go. Ditch the Joy-Cons.

> 3 dayThis is a very high quality controller, and though the price is pretty high, its an investment that is one-to-one with what you expect to pay for. Thus far, Ive gone a year without major problems with it, Absolutely for home and small excursions(i.e. going to someones house for the night and returning). The controller itself hasnt had really big problems(like the dreaded Joy-Con Drift[TM]), but I did notice the trigger buttons are pretty soft, unlike GameCube or XBox triggers, and sometimes they dont pick up input, but its not TOO noticeable overall. If you have the money, go ahead and buy it, from my account, it will at least last a full year, but Im still going strong with it, so I might update this later.
