> 24 hourThis racing rig is a nice budget/mid-range racing sim setup with a good deal of flexibility when it comes to customization. However, there is one major flaw. Since the foot pedal tray and steering wheel column are both attached on the same rail, you cant adjust one without affecting the other. For example, if you want to adjust the foot pedals to bring it closer to you, the steering wheel will also have to do the same since its on the same rail. This is a major design flaw. Also, one other con is that the seat is much too close to the floor. You have to spend extra money on lifters to make access more comfortable. Also, its a bit annoying that lumbar pillow, keyboard tray, and monitor stands are also optional and thus, cost extra.

> 24 hourThe build quality on this thing is SOLID. Dont let the weak looking wheel post fool you, its strong as can be. It has a special washer with like slanted fins so when you tighten things down it holds the wheel angle in place with extraordinary grip, so no worries about it flopping around. I use a heavy Fanatec CSL Elite wheel base as well. The seat is comfortable and the pedal plate is rock solid. Every component is rock solid. The knobs used to tighten everything down are coated with a comfortable and very grippy rubber that are easy to torque down by hand easily. The hardest part of the assembly was the seat and that is only 3 screws. Once you get a few pieces together it all falls into place and assembly is very easy.

> 24 hourI admit wasn’t expecting much when I bought this for my son, but it’s pretty awesome! It is very well built, goes together super easy with good direction and all the tools you will need. I did my research before I bought and a concern was a flexing plate that the pedal box mounts to. There is no flex here. The seat is comfortable and is adjustable. During this lockdown, it has provided endless hours of fun and was worth every penny. My wife has even joined in on the fun. Oh yeah, it’s on wheels, which makes it pretty to move around, but be careful not to ding walls and furniture.

> 24 hourLove this seat. Expensive and hard to justify but amazing. I spent 10 years simracing from an office char on my PC, too young and financially burdened to justify spending any money on a sim seat. Now, over 10 years since giving up simracing with the death Papyruss Nascar Racing series, a recent demo of Forza 6 and a cheap wheel had me itching to race again. The wheel mounted on a tray table just wasnt doing anything for me (uncomfortable and unstable). I started watching this seat/stand and knew it was amazing but figured my wife would never go for it. After convincing her that you only live once and it was worth it, she surprised me with this for Christmas. Easy to Assemble, Highly Adjustable, Comfortable, Incredibly well made and just really absolutely beautiful. Wheels on the front under the pedal mount to lift the seat and drag it out of the room when she wants it out of sight are a perfect addition. I bought a cheap non force feedback wheel (but now wish I had gone for Force Feedback) Thrustmaster Ferrari 458 , so the red on black wheel matches perfectly. It is rock solid when driving. There are simply no cons. You get what you pay for. It is expensive and was hard to justify but once you own it, you wonder why you didnt get one sooner. I left off the side gear shifter adapter as I do not have one. It saves space and there is less to bump into when moving around it. It is a big chair but the resulting cushioning is perfect.

> 24 hourPretty sweet deal, the assembly was fairly simple, construction is pretty sturdy for the average racer, if you have a powerful force feedback wheel consider a sturdier design of cockpit, my steering wheel moves a bit more than I’d like during aggressive steering. I’ve tightened everything and it still seems to flex a little bit, noticeable enough to where i would explore other options. All in all, this cockpit was a solid purchase, materials are of high quality, highly adjustable setup, I’ve owned this for about a week with a tx wheel and pedal set + th8a shifter and I’m still dialing everything in for maximum comfort

> 24 hourThis sim rig is awesome! It is made from thick quality steel, that makes the unit strong and stable. Personally I love how versatile the system is, you can easily convert from a HOTAS to a driving simulator to a civillian yoke and pedal flight simulator. Want your flight stick center mounted between your legs you can do that, want it off to the side can do that as well! The only negatives thing I can say is it absolutly should come with the 5 inch seat height kit as it is a must have! Also the center post mounting of the steering wheel can rub on your legs but they offer a direct drive wheel mount that does away with the center post and has a more standard table style wheel mount so if you decide the center post is a bother ( really doesnt bother me) you can change that as well! Basically its customizeable to anything you could want IMO! Love this cockpit!

> 24 hourVery high quality product, and a great introduction to the racing simulation market for the price. I was immediately impressed with the heft and quality of the components when I received them, especially the seat, which is very comfortable and realistic. Setup was a snap, especially since all the required tools are included in the package, which is a great convenience. My unit ended up having a minor welding defect that mean the main post that slides into the chair would stay in place. When I requested a return for that reason, the seller responded immediately and not only gave me a full credit for the item, but immediately acknowledge the problem and shipped out replacement parts. I was extremely impressed with such an amazing level of customer service. The seller clearly cares about its products and will stand behind them to make sure its customers have an optimal experience. Now if youll excuse me, I have some more racing to do. :)

> 24 hourI am impressed with this seat! The riser kit is a must if you don’t want to sit on the floor though. The whole thing feels very sturdy and goes together fairly easily. Everything feels solid, but the wheel mount has a little wiggle to it. It’s not really noticeable while driving though. The only strike against it is that one of the screws for the seat back snapped when tightening. It’s holding together, but I’m not looking forward to drilling it out and replacing it. They include all of the tools needed to assemble, which is great, but the low quality of some of the screws is inconvenient. I am 6 ft 4 in and this seat still allows for a little extra leg room. It is also able to shrink up to accommodate my 10 year old without any real effort.

> 24 hourThis is my 2nd seat from Open Wheeler. I had the GEN1 and there is a reason I came back for the GEN3. Sturdy, reliable with customization features that are expanding to fit specific needs tailored to your driving experience.

> 24 hourThis is the racing cockpit to buy. If you are not looking to get a cockpit that physically moves and bounces around, this is definitely at the top of my recommendations. The customizability is fantastic with this. If you want to get that just right positioning: this is perfect. This cockpit is also dramatically more durable than most other racing sims. That means for heavy duty gear like fanatec, this sim will hold up One Gripe: The video tutorial is dramatically outdated. Do not use it! Just follow the kinda subpar instruction manual and suffer in silence
