Greater than one weekFantastic racing and flight sim rig and an even better company. Purchased this seat and attached 4 bass shakers but wanted to use it for flight and racing so I made a few minor mods to be able to switch between the two. Contacted the company about the flight sim accessories they are working on to ask if I could purchase them. They told me they were still tweaking some things but they were almost done. They sent me their flight sim stuff, new riser setup for the seat, new steering wheel stand, and new base plate all for free. They also included a nice 4 point harness for the thing. I am extremely satisfied with the customer service of this company as well as the product they have. Amazon will not allow links in a review for whatever reason but if you search Openwheeler racing/flight simulator setup on youtube you can see a quick video of mine.

> 3 dayIm 5 11, 240 lbs, and 60 years old. I am a Forza addict and decided I needed a wheel, for which I needed a seat. Im glad I picked this one to go with the Logitech G920. I added the lift kit (Amazon B07G67FB1W), for a more normal seating position, and it was easy enough to install. All the tools you need are provided with this seat, and another wrench with the lift kit. Theres no lack of adjustability. Its very solidly built. The seat itself is better than I expected. Its tempting to get two extra for my 2000 Frontier. If you have a favorite car seat, its also available without the seat, and it should be no problem mounting a cars seat to the frame. It should bolt right up. Well, back to driving imaginary cars and learning how to use a wheel, after taking 5 years to learn how to drive with an XBox One controller. My other car is a 2017 Freightliner Cascadia.

> 3 dayThe seat is very comfy, the wheel stand is sturdy but easily adjustable, and it comes with all the hardware needed for assembly and to attach most steering wheels and pedals on the market.

Greater than one weekArrived a few days early just in time to finish out my holiday vacation! Outstanding! Excellent quality parts and construction! Very well thought out design and functionality. The seat is very comfortable. Usually with kits like this the parts bag is one big confusing plastic bag. Not this one. In the zippered cloth bag came smaller plastic parts bags clearly labeled. The cloth bag will be used to hold parts i havent used and the tools. Also included were all tools needed which were also high quality! Very impressed with the thought and detail of this kit! I will be ordering some of the accessories like the 5 seat risers. Everything bolted up perfectly and my Logitech wheel and pedals bolted up perfectly with the hardware parts in the kit.

> 3 dayThis review is posted twice because I bought two of these seats, a yellow one and a blue one. Personally, I like the yellow one better. Its uglier and therefore faster. --- Yeah, ok, I dont have a Youtube anymore, but Im sure a few people reading this will still recognize the name. 5 years since my retirement from Focke-Wulfing and Im still Turbo-Lotusing, and this seat is where Im at right now with hardware. Im actually more enthusiastic about this racing seat than Ive been about any piece of sim hardware since CH products or even Track IR, and the support the company puts behind the product is the primary reason why -- its a great product with unbeatable customer support. I tried to repair my previous seat (a Bob Earl V1) but the damage to the fiberglass was too great for a patch. Seeing as Bob Earl is out of the racing seat business these days (making spares or replacement parts difficult) new options were needed. I investigated several options, quickly settling on this Openwheeler as checking all the right boxes for me: close to the open wheel sitting position, durable heavy steel adjustable hardware, and a comfortable, realistic, adjustable seat. I was looking for functional simplicity, and sight unseen I made a very good choice. These seats are very well made, comfortable, and solid. The padding and especially the foam molding design could be better (it feels like years of use could cause them to detach), but for the price it is quite acceptable (and Ill be back to update over the years if I have problems). The seat is not a genuine Sparco or anything like that -- its just a generic racing seat meant to imitate the more expensive ones, but for a generic racing seat it largely feels nice and well made. The welding on the frame is a bit sloppy in places but the entire system is very sturdy and easy to adjust. Very, very solid. The knobs used to adjust the entire system are very well made and comfortable on the hands (a huge improvement from my old Bob Earl). The first seat I received (the blue one) came with a bent/defective base and Openwheeler shipped me a replacement very quickly with a simple email. All they requested were some pictures and they quickly expedited me a replacement (complete with tools). Overall the design is of very high quality, and, more importantly, its very functional. I was originally going to dock them at least one star for these seats not being compatible with Fanatec racing hardware, but after quickly dashing off an email to customer service they went out of their way to ship me, unexpectedly and completely for free, a bunch of prototype parts and beta designs they were working on that added Fanatec hardware compatibility. They were quick, pleasant, very professional, and actually listened to me and responded to my feedback. For example when the first pedal mount bracket they sent wasnt aligned properly I drew a diagram of what was wrong and they immediately fabricated and sent me a fix for it. This type of back and forth happened for several months and they ended up sending me numerous pieces to test and feedback. They clearly care about their product, and their customers. Ive got a direct relationship now with their customer support (positive energy and shouts go out to Dimitar!) virtually guaranteeing 100% of my future business in this purchasing category (mid level racing seats and related hardware). Its a pity more companies dont recognize the positive and long lasting relationships they could cultivate with their customers if theyd simply make a little effort. Now Im totally satisfied, sitting in a comfortable racing seat, very close to an accurate open wheel sitting position, with hard mounted Fanatec CSR wheel and hard mounted Fanatec Clubsport V2 pedals, totally immersed in my favourite racing sims, hanging on to the limit of grip in all my favourite race cars. Its too bad PCARS development never went anywhere (an example of a company going out of their way to cultivate bad relationships with their customers, those guys), but at least the future of rFactor 2 is looking exceedingly bright. Bring on the next 5 or 10 years of sim racing, because Im ready!

> 3 dayThis a very sturdy entry level race platform. It was easy to assemble and came with all tools and hardware. Its very adjustable and also easy to move around if you need too. I used it with a VR headset most of the time, but the included back rollers make it easy to move in front of my TV for Xbox play. I removed one star from the review because I think it should have come with lift kit. I really did not find it easy to get in and out of being right on the ground with a center mount wheel. Also, I think longer sessions were not good for my admittedly older back. The lift kit corrected both issues. It also gives the chair a natural tilt which makes it really comfortable. I do recommend this seat as a very good entry into the simulation racing. I use it with a logitech 920 wheel and pedals and its rock solid. I feel like an upgrade to a belt drive or lower end direct drive would be fine with this seat as well. I think this will serve me well for years.

> 3 dayShift pedals to right because right shin will rub center square tube when applying brake also i recommend the risers because getting up and down from seat is a pain. Other than that its awesome we got shifter too I bought for my 16 year old to learn how to drive the wheel has a paddle shifter so shifter not needed right away. On a side note i weigh 200 ish and seat shakes ever so slightly when driver an agressive track but makes it seem more realistic

Greater than one weekHonestly could not be more pleased with this setup. Everything is as adjustable as you’d ever want. I feel comfortable sitting in an upright position for rally racing, or low slung for F1 racing. Build quality is extremely solid. I can comfortably heel-toe without worrying about the pedal plate flexing or not being stable enough. I have no issues doing quick countersteer movements or flinging the car around in a drift. The seat itself is pretty comfortable, but nothing really to write home about. I wish the head area was tilted forward a bit more and it had a tad more bolster, but I understand that this is a seat intended for a universal fit. I’ve put at least 80 hours into the chair since buying it and can’t complain too much. The included tools are also high quality, I stuck them in my toolbox after setting everything up. Definitely not throwaway quality like most included assembly tools. My only real complaint is the casters could be a bit more heavy duty. I don’t see them withstanding a lot of use.

> 3 dayI purchased this sim chair to go with my logitech wheel/pedals/shifter that I had been using on a coffee table. The same day I ordered it I sent team homeracer a message inquiring about additional parts for my thrustmaster t.flight hotas 4 flight stick and throttle. Within hours they had messaged me back saying they did have plate attachments and as they are a test batch they were shipping the pieces to me for free. I have had the chair for about two weeks now and the flight sim attachments for one week. The racing setup: There is some assembly required. It took about 30 minutes and they included all necessary tools (two regular wrenches and two Allen wrenches). The assembly instructions are very easy to follow and illustrated. They also include instructions for mounting your wheel/pedals/shifter with different instructions for different brands. All the small parts were bagged and labeled very clearly with a letter and what they were for. Once the chair is assembled it is very adjustable. Rubber coated knobs allow you to adjust: height and depth of steering column, height and width of shifter mount, depth of pedals. You can also adjust the seat itself just like a real car seat (depth and backrest angle). Everything is very sturdy. The shifter pedals and steering wheel all feel like they are part of the chair (no wiggle), and the chair itself does not rock at all while playing. While it is fairly heavy due to the solid materials (all metal) it is also easy to move thanks to the lockable wheels under the pedal plate. The chair itself is very comfortable. It contours and supports your body well. The amount of adjustability means it can fit a wide range of body types and sizes (Im 600 and 250 lbs). The fabric feels durable and the padding has not degraded at all during two weeks of heavy use. I barely used my $300 racing sim controllers for over a year when I tried attaching them to my coffee table. Now with this chair I cant get enough of them. Flight setup. As I already had the chair setup their was minimal assembly for this and again they included clear instructions and all necessary tools. They even let me know ahead of time that with my flight sticks (t.flight hotas 4) that I would have to extend the cord in order to get the side by side arrangement I wanted. Again they included multiple instructions and parts to mount different brands of flight sticks. The plates are sturdy enough that hard mounting the controls is not necessary though. They also included optional spacers to slightly raise and tilt the seat for flight sim. Overall: This greatly enhances the level of immersion you get from your sim experience. The assembly is easy and everything is provided. Comfort is top notch and allows for sim sessions of several hours without aches or cramps. Considering the price you could pay for something very similar this chair is a steal. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with the product and the company. Five stars on everything.

> 3 dayIts great for what it is. My suggestion is get the seat risers. I have the flight sim kit and the mouse and keyboard tray. Its great for racing and flying, but not too much for anything mouse and keyboard intensive.
