OK, at first I thought that this low price cockpit was going to be a good deal, but with so many additional items that you need to buy separate to have all the bells and whistles, I ended up spending around $1,200. So if you want to buy a cockpit with all the bells and whistles you might want to look to an upper level cockpit that has everything on them at first and are better looking or have better design than this one like an integrated screen mount. I can not say I do not like it, but I wish I knew I was going to end up spending $1,200 to have all the options I wanted and spend the $1,200 on a bad ass cockpit with everything on it and get everything I wanted in one shipment at once. Additional items I bought separate were: 1. Two Bass shaker mounting brackets. 2. Screen Mount. 3. Roller casters (had to make a custom installation and weld a mounting plate for each caster). 4. Seat raiser. 5. Seat belt. 6. Seat pillows. 7. Cup holder. 8. Side table. If you are looking for just a seat, this cockpit is for you, but if you want all the bells and whistles like I do, better look to other options with all included.

So I finally got this rig all put together ... wasnt too difficult however, due to poor packaging one of the tightening knobs broke. I made due with the broken knob by putting it on a part I wont have to adjust so it is effectively out of the way. However, I discovered a design flaw with the bars that are designed to hold the shifter in place .. as they only use one knob at the base to hold the arm up it rocks back and forth with relative ease. I fixed this by jamming cardboard packaging down into the base holder and re-tightening the screw. Lastly, I find the seat and the pedals are in a position like a go kart and with the logitech pedals my legs are uncomfortably parallel to the ground and my feet are flat vertical to the pedals ... making long plays uncomfortable. Outside of frame issues, I do like the seat itself, the red and black look very sharp and it has a nice racing feel to it. I think later on in life I will disassemble this, make a platform to raise the seat up so I am in a more comfortable position.

Was on the fence on building one vs buying one, but after seeing how well this went together and no wobbles yet I am very happy with my purchase. I wanted to give it 4 stars for these couple reasons. Even with the seat all the way back i feel like the g27 shifter is very slightly too far backwards, the pedal plate has some flex to it but the support bar is right behind it even with a hole drilled like its going to solve that issue, but it doesnt so i shimmed it(maybe I have an old style?), and the main one that you really cant get around being a single bar in the middle vs 2 bars on the outside to hold steering wheel is left foot braking is kinda awkward and relys more on your left ankle than your leg because your calf runs into the steering center bar. But with how well its packaged, the attention to detail (Velcro wire wraps, large rubberized adjustment knobs, not cheap slick plastic), how all the hardware is included and labeled clear, and had every tool included it keeps its 5 stars. Didnt need to grab one tool out of the garage to assemble.

Buy it! Its very high quality and worth the money

This chair has been so much better than I even thought it could be. It takes up very little room, folds nicely, and is able to handle my csl dd 12nm force feedback wheel just fine!

This a very sturdy entry level race platform. It was easy to assemble and came with all tools and hardware. Its very adjustable and also easy to move around if you need too. I used it with a VR headset most of the time, but the included back rollers make it easy to move in front of my TV for Xbox play. I removed one star from the review because I think it should have come with lift kit. I really did not find it easy to get in and out of being right on the ground with a center mount wheel. Also, I think longer sessions were not good for my admittedly older back. The lift kit corrected both issues. It also gives the chair a natural tilt which makes it really comfortable. I do recommend this seat as a very good entry into the simulation racing. I use it with a logitech 920 wheel and pedals and its rock solid. I feel like an upgrade to a belt drive or lower end direct drive would be fine with this seat as well. I think this will serve me well for years.

Paired it with tm300gt. The only thing I dont like is the bar being between my legs and made it hard for me to brake with left foot, maybe just because of my height being too short and I had the adjust the seat to be really close to the main support bar. If you have pets, especially cats, be sure to cover the seat while you are not gaming, this is like their favorite scratching texture and I ensure you they’re gonna scratch on it.

Ladies Gentle this is a great racing seat Ive owned it for about 6 month now and we love it. My daughter and i love it so much we ended up getting a second one for movie purposes after playing any game racing, shooter, sport we use the seat to lean back sit back grab our foot rest and enjoy a good movie. I highly recommend this seat well built and very comfortable, seat lift kit recommended. Please contact openwheeler to see what they can do for you for the seat rear support brackets in order to lean back.

What a great experience. I have owned the rig for almost a year. I have bought most of the accessories too. The materials are top notch, the design is well thought out and the seat is very comfortable. The best part though is the customer service. I wish other companies were this good at their job.

Assembly was fairly simple. Seat quality is really comfortable. I was afraid the pole down the middle would bother me but I don’t even notice it. I went cheap on my last racing sim and ended up paying for it... I’m glad I spent the extra money this time. This is definitely worth it! Breaks down easily for storage if needed and the wheels make it easy to move around the house. I have around 50 hours in the seat and it’s been amazing the whole time.
