> 3 dayJust an excellent product. Great instructions and they provide all tools and anything you would need to attach the most common high end peripherals - we are extremely impressed. My only suggestion would be that the seat risers should be included in the Gen3 kit. I bought them as an add on, they are essential. Glad to see the comments about the customer service If I ever need anything. Like others have said, if you’re on the fence, just buy this one. The quality of the materials and metal are absolutely outstanding.

> 3 dayReally happy with this cockpit. I set it up with the optional flight controls kit and seat riser and use it for flying and space sims. I looked at lots of different cockpits and found this to be the best value. A nice design and well built. Even with the seat risers it is a bit low for this sixty year old to get into and out of, but it is comfortable. Was very happy with the even more rapid than projected shipping. My only complaint is that my cat has decided that it is his favorite seat in my office. I made a keyboard tray for where the racing wheel is supposed to mount. Works well, but I would have been interested in there was a keyboard mount available.

> 3 dayI bought the chair as the base for a VR cockpit for DCS and I was not disappointed. The chair allowed for easy mounting of my HOTAS and Control Stick although with a slight modification to allow the HOTAS mount to more securely be affixed to the chair. Wire management was a cakewalk as well. My only issue is the face that there is no cutout to allow my stick to sit lower but as this is primarily for racing sims that is something I couldnt avoid. Still a very comfy chair to sit in for a few hours at a time and I would totally recommend this chair for similar projects.

> 3 dayThis is an amazing video-game racing seat. Sturdy, high quality materials and you can tell that the manufacturer loves gaming and understands what people expect from this product. Of all the items Ive bought in my life this is the first time I receive an item that has every single tool you need for assembly. That says a lot about the manufacturer and how much they are focused on customer happiness. Most products just give you a list of wrenches and screwdrivers you will need and a Good Luck with assembly. Every bag with screws came labeled for each specific need, all wrenches and Hex tools. The seat is built as if it was going to go inside a real race car. Very satisfied and completely improved the racing game experience.

> 3 dayAfter using this cockpit for a few weeks, I am happy to write a 5-star review! The best thing about this cockpit is its combination of both rigidity and modularity. I have a center-mounted flight sim setup, and by loosening one knob, I can quickly remove my rudder/stick mount and replace it with my racing wheel/driving pedals mount. Being able to swap between setups so easily, I still would have been happy if their design wasnt 100% stable. But it is VERY stable! For comparison, I have tried another companys sim pit for work (wont mention the brand name, but they charge more than OW), and that one was not able to switch between racing/flying setups, and not a single control or keyboard tray would stay where I put it. I wont go into more detail on that one, cause this isnt a review for them. But thats to say this cockpit is of much higher quality than I expected for the price. I have seen other reviews criticize OW for nickel and diming with add-ons, but I dont see it that way. If it had shipped with every feature that is currently optional, this cockpit would be much more expensive, and we would have had plenty of users paying for features they dont want or need. This way, you can buy exactly the parts you want for your own requirements. They also have great customer support. When I ordered mine along with the center-stick bracket and rudder pedals mount, they reached out immediately by email to confirm my order (I still needed the kit that included the throttle bracket and would have had no way to mount it otherwise). They included a phone number that I called to discuss my order, which was immediately answered. They want to get you a good product and are happy to help you configure it exactly for your needs.

22-11-2024I used to own a Wheelstand Pro to race with my Logitech G27 wheel & pedals. After I installed a 35kg loadcell brake mod however, I needed something more stable because the wheelstand moved around to much. After some research I found the OpenWheeler Gen2 and ordered it together with the Seat Lift Kit. Packaging and included tools are great and the overall built quality and attention to detail are outstanding. The step by step instructions are easy to follow and overall it took me about 2.5hours to get race ready. I am 64 tall and have plenty of space to adjust everything as needed. The high quality seat is very comfortable even for longer play sessions. I have imited space so I like the fact that it can easily by partially disassembled and neatly tucked away in a relatively small area. I highly recommend this chair and definitely recommend buying the Seat Lift Kit as well.

> 3 dayI have epilepsy and havent bee allowed to drive in a decade. Not only does the Gen 3 seat feel great it has everything to make the experience as real as possible. I run Project Cars 2 through a Q2 by way of Virtual Desktop using a Logitech g923 wheel and stick. I also like rally racing though and was disappointed that the stick shift mount wouldnt fit an added e-brake. There wasnt one on Amazon so I called. Not only did they have the part but they mailed it out for free. Its a great product and they have real people on the line who care. My sincerest thanks.

> 3 dayEase of Assembly-(5 Stars) Everything came packaged and labeled at a level Ive never experienced before. The bags had each screw set for each possible setup clearly labeled and seperated from the other parts. Bags inside bags had labels. The labels all correspond with a well written colored instruction manual. There are tools for each part requiring assembly. Real tools, not the generic kind. As a bonus, some of the extra configurations required different tools. They were included as well. Racing Cockpit-(5 stars) Well constructed steal cockpit. Each piece fits smoothly together. Very customizable & multiple adjustments to fit every size. The seat was comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
