13-06-2025I have two of these. The first is setup as a flight sim cockpit. I liked it so much that when I was ready to build a driving simulator, I didn’t even look at anything else. Excellent design and good clear instructions, with all the hardware clearly labeled in individual bags for each application. I do HIGHLY recommend the seat riser and frame extender accessories for any configuration of this seat.

> 3 dayThis is a good, quality racing chair for the price. The base is sturdy and the seat is comfortable. I am a taller / bigger guy and the seat fits me well and has tons of adjustability for any size. I was surprised at how solidly built it was. One bit of advice, it is very low to the ground to start, maybe only 4 inches or so off the floor. If you are a bigger person, or slightly older I highly recommend the seat lift kit. It is easy to install and makes the chair much easier to get in and out of. It also creates a much more natural driving position. Out of the box your legs are almost straight out, but with the seat lifts I can race for hours very comfortably.

> 3 dayThis is an excellent entry level frame and I have been very happy with my purchase. I would definitely recommend getting the optional seat risers to make it more comfortable. I removed a star because Im having issues with the plate the steering wheel mounts to coming loose from the bracket used for adjusting tilt. It uses 4 hex screws, but they painted this part assembled so paint is in the sockets of the screws. I tried to tighten the screws back down, but with paint getting in the way I couldnt get the Allen wrench in all the way and it stripped. Trying to find replacements for those screws. EDIT: Im changing my review to five stars because they reached out to me right away to fix the issue. I think I was able to get the screws tight enough and I used some blue threadlocker, so I hopefully dont need their assistance. Well see, Im waiting for the threadlocker to cure. The paint definitely made this whole process a pain though.

> 3 dayOrdered back in mid February, arrived just in time for the covid shutdown, so needless to say I was one happy camper. Paired it with a Thrustmaster T300 wheel and T3PA GT edition pedals. No slide with the wheels as I hit the brakes, no flex in the pedal plate, rig feels nice and sturdy for the price. Only complaint that I have after 100s of hours of driving is that its difficult to heel and toe, but thats not a deal breaker for me. Highly recommend if youre just getting your feet wet in sim racing, or if youre not looking to break the bank.

> 3 dayEase of Assembly-(5 Stars) Everything came packaged and labeled at a level Ive never experienced before. The bags had each screw set for each possible setup clearly labeled and seperated from the other parts. Bags inside bags had labels. The labels all correspond with a well written colored instruction manual. There are tools for each part requiring assembly. Real tools, not the generic kind. As a bonus, some of the extra configurations required different tools. They were included as well. Racing Cockpit-(5 stars) Well constructed steal cockpit. Each piece fits smoothly together. Very customizable & multiple adjustments to fit every size. The seat was comfortable. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

> 3 dayI love the rig so much, and customer service is amazing! I had a defective seat that made the top part not line up with the bottom seat, and they went out of their way to send me out a hole new rig as a replacement. Words do not explain how amazed I am that you would do that for some random buyer. The new seat lines up perfect! I will be sending back the defective one withing the next couple days. Seriously thank you for helping me fix the issue.

> 3 dayI love the versatility and adjustability of this cockpit. At 6’3” I needed something that would accommodate my frame. Something cheaply built just wouldn’t do. The construction of the frame and quality of the materials provide ample support that feels great. I use it with my Thrustmaster T150, but I am now considering upgrading to match the realism and quality of this cockpit. I highly recommend this for a great racing experience.

> 3 dayAmazing! I replaced my Playseat Evolution with this and was converted IMMEDIATELY! The folks at Open Wheeler thought about everything when they made this product. The seat is very comfortable and I love that I can adjust it forward and back (laterally) and adjust the recline. It allows me to adjust the steering wheel plate up/down, forward/back as well as the angle. It also allows me to adjust the pedal plate forward/back. Basically, it can adjust in any way imaginable. It was very easy to assemble especially since the instructions are very well written. It comes with two Allens and two wrenches (which I already own) but I thought it was a great touch since most products require you to already own such tools. I also purchased the OW 5 risers and lumbar pillow separately. This thing is perfect for hours of driving!

> 3 dayFirst sim rig setup with Logitech G920. Love everything about this combo a couple months in. Everything mounted up super easy. The seat was easy to build up with clear instruction. If you’re thinking about it just pull the trigger. Might seem like a big investment but trust me you won’t regret it one bit.

> 3 dayThe build quality on this thing is SOLID. Dont let the weak looking wheel post fool you, its strong as can be. It has a special washer with like slanted fins so when you tighten things down it holds the wheel angle in place with extraordinary grip, so no worries about it flopping around. I use a heavy Fanatec CSL Elite wheel base as well. The seat is comfortable and the pedal plate is rock solid. Every component is rock solid. The knobs used to tighten everything down are coated with a comfortable and very grippy rubber that are easy to torque down by hand easily. The hardest part of the assembly was the seat and that is only 3 screws. Once you get a few pieces together it all falls into place and assembly is very easy.
