> 3 dayThis is the best seat/frame out there. Very sturdy. Seat is very comfortable. Very Adjustable. Easy to assemble. I use it for sim racing. I am a wheelchair user. Use hand controls to activate accelerator and brake. Put it on a plastic pallet in order to raise it. Bolt it with U bolts so it will not move on the pallet. Installed hand controls. Installed the add-on for handbrake and gears. I installed it backwards so I could have the gears closer to the seat. Not like the photo from the manufacturer that has the handbrake next to the seat. Again, it is very adjustable. It comes with the tools (wrenches and keys) needed to assemble. Manual and instructions included. Very good customer service. Great communication. Recommended with no hesitation.

> 3 dayArrived quickly. Very sturdy, nice seat, easy assembly. Negatives: very low to the ground, the steering wheel mounting bar can get in the way if you use 3 pedals....though this can be mostly overcome with pedal adjustments, if your tall it probably isnt any issue. Again, very sturdy. Way better than mounting to anything else. Seat is comfy for hours of driving. For the price I recommend this seat. I originally said the shifter mount wasnt included, this was a mistake. It is and works great( the logitech G920 doesnt come with shifter. Customer service reached out, unsolicited, to make sure I got my parts and offered the kit to raise the chair for free..Awesome service, very pleased!!!

06-06-2025So, I purchased this in marchish, and can write a complete review having had it a few months. Let me start by saying it was shipped as fast as promised, and was not damaged in any way. This product is a fine product. Its built sturdy with square tubing. I have a fanatec csr elite, and a thrustmaster t-150 with TH8A shifter. And everything had pre-drilled holes for the foot plates, and the Fanatec wheel. I had to clamp the thrustmaster. I highly recommend this race seat to anyone whose serious about sim racing. Additionally, I have thrustmaster flight simulator controls, and pedals. They do not bolt down to anything on the seat. Other than that; this seat might be my pride and joy of my sim racing rig.

> 3 dayIm delighted with the OpenWheeler GEN3 Racing Wheel Stand Cockpit. Firstly it does need quite a bit of assembly. Everything is well packed and labelled, with separate bags for different stages of assembly. The instructions are well-written with good illustrations and photos. There are separate bags of parts for some specific third-party devices, such as Fanatec wheels and Thrustmaster H-pattern shifter, as well as generic bolts for attaching everything else. Everything can be put together by one person, although I found the trickiest part was attaching the seat back to the base - a second person here would be helpful, although I did manage by myself after a few minutes. Wrenches and allen keys are provided. Id swear there was a 10mm wrench but It seems to have disappeared now, haha. The resulting rig is solid and there are plenty of options for moving everything around to fit your preferences. The seat tilts and slides like a normal car seat. The wheel can be moved closer/further away, raised/lowered and change its angle. Pedals can be moved closer/further, tilted either +/- 5 degrees from the default angle, and shifted left or right which is useful if youre braking with the left or right foot. Most of those adjustments are with knobs, but altering the pedal configuration requires unbolting the pedal support and reassembling it, so I recommend trying it out with only hand-tightened bolts so you can see where you want everything, then move it to your liking before tightening everything down finally. The optional shifter support can be installed at either side, and can move left/right and up/down, but not forward/back. I dont have a shifter installed yet so did not attach the support, but its easy to add it. I bought the 5 inch riser package and installed that while building the rig. I like the final height although I didnt try it at its default low level so I cant comment on how that would feel. Im 61 and my eyes are 42 inches above the floor when seated which means that a standard 31 table puts the centerline of the display at eye level for me. Without the risers I would either be looking up at the display, or trying to find a lower table to support it. The rig is solid and feels well-constructed. Nothing moves around, flexes or creaks. Will it take seconds off your lap times in Assetto Corsa? Cant guarantee it, but youll be comfortable finding out.

> 3 dayI purchased this sim chair to go with my logitech wheel/pedals/shifter that I had been using on a coffee table. The same day I ordered it I sent team homeracer a message inquiring about additional parts for my thrustmaster t.flight hotas 4 flight stick and throttle. Within hours they had messaged me back saying they did have plate attachments and as they are a test batch they were shipping the pieces to me for free. I have had the chair for about two weeks now and the flight sim attachments for one week. The racing setup: There is some assembly required. It took about 30 minutes and they included all necessary tools (two regular wrenches and two Allen wrenches). The assembly instructions are very easy to follow and illustrated. They also include instructions for mounting your wheel/pedals/shifter with different instructions for different brands. All the small parts were bagged and labeled very clearly with a letter and what they were for. Once the chair is assembled it is very adjustable. Rubber coated knobs allow you to adjust: height and depth of steering column, height and width of shifter mount, depth of pedals. You can also adjust the seat itself just like a real car seat (depth and backrest angle). Everything is very sturdy. The shifter pedals and steering wheel all feel like they are part of the chair (no wiggle), and the chair itself does not rock at all while playing. While it is fairly heavy due to the solid materials (all metal) it is also easy to move thanks to the lockable wheels under the pedal plate. The chair itself is very comfortable. It contours and supports your body well. The amount of adjustability means it can fit a wide range of body types and sizes (Im 600 and 250 lbs). The fabric feels durable and the padding has not degraded at all during two weeks of heavy use. I barely used my $300 racing sim controllers for over a year when I tried attaching them to my coffee table. Now with this chair I cant get enough of them. Flight setup. As I already had the chair setup their was minimal assembly for this and again they included clear instructions and all necessary tools. They even let me know ahead of time that with my flight sticks (t.flight hotas 4) that I would have to extend the cord in order to get the side by side arrangement I wanted. Again they included multiple instructions and parts to mount different brands of flight sticks. The plates are sturdy enough that hard mounting the controls is not necessary though. They also included optional spacers to slightly raise and tilt the seat for flight sim. Overall: This greatly enhances the level of immersion you get from your sim experience. The assembly is easy and everything is provided. Comfort is top notch and allows for sim sessions of several hours without aches or cramps. Considering the price you could pay for something very similar this chair is a steal. I cannot overstate how impressed I am with the product and the company. Five stars on everything.

> 3 dayGreat rig. We use mostly for iRacing and occasionally Xbox. It wasn’t complicated to put together though there were a few things I had to redo but they were minor and more based on the hardware we were attaching. It fits my young son as well as myself at over 6 feet. It can be challenging to move the seat backwards and forwards and moving the entire rig around isn’t very convenient - a few 360 degrees wheels strategically located could have likely simplified movement of the seat and unit - that being said - you probably don’t expect to move a rig like this frequently and it has done great so far. My son feels like he’s sitting in a racecar cockpit.

> 3 dayLike the headline, I rarely leave reviews. I absolutely had to on this though. Easy to assemble. Good instructions. Sturdy frame. Great quality. Called customer service because I heard there were mounts for the HOTAS flight controllers, but the link in the accessories book wasn’t working. Customer service was able to answer my questions and hooked me up with everything I needed. I will post up pictures of the final set up. They have lots of accessories and were extremely helpful! The customer service rep was amazing and provided me with the BEST assistance I have ever had anywhere. Price is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Worth every penny I spent!

Greater than one weekAll in all my experience with this product and the seller has been absolutely fantastic. First, lets talk about the chair: Its a solid construction, functional, comfortable. You get value for money. Assembly is straightforward and you get ALL tools youll need in the box. They even throw in some cable binders to make your setup neat and tidy. I am using this racing seat with a

> 3 dayI dont run my brakes with a loadcell ( v3 pedals) and low force so idk how plate would handle super heavy 90 kg pressure or something but for me its good same with steering no noticeable flex. Only annoyance is pole between your legs but seat is super comfy. my manual says gen 3 idk if thats a misprint or I got an updated version but 5/5 best storable rig Ive seen for the money. P.S riser kit is must get if you plan on playing with your tv/monitors in a higher place since this seat/frame is basically on the floor.

> 3 dayBought this to start getting into sim racing. It works great with the Logitech G29 wheel and pedals, and the Logitech shifter. This is very easy to assemble and comes out very sturdy. It does sit pretty low to the ground, which wasn’t an issue for me, but some of my family members did have a hard time getting in and out of it, so I opted to purchase the spacers/lifters that are sold separately. They raise the seat about five inches. This thing, along with a wheel, is a blast and my only regret is that I didn’t buy one sooner!
