> 24 hourI tried out a couple less expensive (cheap) projectors before purchasing the Optoma. Ill just say you get what you pay for.... This one is 100% better than the others. Great picture, color is good, motion is good, and brightness is good. I have it projecting on a 150 screen and it looks great. Focus is good from corner to corner (the cheap ones you kind of have to pick which part of the screen you want to be in focus...) I havent tried 3D yet, but am looking forward to it. The projector was supposed to just be for fun to watch a movie on every once in a while, but has now become the go to every night.

> 24 hourPurchased the projector HD28HDR in June 2021 and the HDMI system already failed in April - Cant get technical support. I have written messages and try to contact them by phone with no luck. Its very frustrating.

> 24 hourHad it for a month so far and very pleased, far better than the dated one I replaced. Bolted right up to old universal mount. I dont use the volume on it, so cant comment on that. As far as fan noise, we dont notice it when watching movies/playing games. Only downside: mine turned on without giving option for language, took me a while to figure out how to get it back to English...that and no directions in the box is really annoying...will update later if needs be.

> 24 hourQuick review after 2 days. Pros: Brightness, clarity, just the overall picture quality -- whether youre watching movie, streaming videos, or playing games. And 120hz at 1080P for gaming is truly impressive -- super fluid, and virtually no input lag...the responsiveness is simply night and day compared to other non-gaming projectors in the same price range ive used. And its super easy to setup, the settings are easy to navigate. Cons: No built-in OS of any kind, so youll have to rely strictly on external sources -- fine for me since i hooked it up to my mediacenter/gaming PC, but if you want the likes of built-in netflix or hulu -- look elsewhere...no auto-focusing...zoom feature is negligible...image quality in HDR mode was strangely washed out -- but that could just be a Windows thing, we all know how bad HDR implementation in win10 is

> 24 hourThis projector is great. We use it for outdoor movies for our neighborhood. We have to wait until dusk, but thats okay, its starting to get darker earlier now. Also, it doesnt have 4K, it takes the 4K signal and drops it to 1080. HDR I couldnt get my PS4 to recognize, and I havent figured out if its possible to enable 3D on SBS content, as I have a lot of that. EDIT: I was able to find that I could choose SBS on the projector and get my 3D movies playing.

> 24 hourThe picture quality was so good. But, design of the projector is very bad. It got only one leg on backside. How do we set screen straight if it have only one back leg to support.

> 24 hourI loved this projector when we first bought it. We use it in the living room instead of a tv, but I have owned this less than a year and already there are a ton of dead pixels all over the screen. will not buy another projector from this brand again
