> 24 hourGreat Value for picture quality. however the UI for menu is very archaic. one of the reasons i bought this projector was for the HDMI CEC, but this projectors CEC was compatible with Roku Streambar Pros HDMI ARC. This unit also only has a 3.5 stereo jackpot audio output. for $600 i would expect to have at least an optical output or 12v trigger output.

> 24 hourI bought this unit to replace the HD 26 that I bought in 2016. That was a very good projector I had purchased a new bulb for it and very recently the color went out on it and it was only in black-and-white. The funny thing is when I was reading the reviews for this one the remote control only had 3 1/2 stars but on the HD 26 it has five stars after unboxing I compared the two and they are the exact same. I haven’t heard mounted to the ceiling in the place of where the HD 26 was about 15 feet from the screen I am at the max and there is no adjustment for focus. Where the HD 26 had a zoom in and zoom out as well as focus and fine-tune

> 24 hourReplacing my Optoma HD20 which I bought in 2012. The bulb and color wheel finally went out. Otherwise it was problem free for 8yrs. So far Im very happy with my purchase. This model has a much brighter picture and it looks great!

> 24 hourI was excited to get this but after some usage that excitement started to fade away. First theres no lens cap with the unit. The picture quality is decent when I can get it to project something. I was using an IPad and an XBox with this and after connecting to HDMI it did not want to project anything, just a black screen. After a few minutes of unplugging and restarting I had success but it doesnt seem to always work the first time. The fan is really quiet and probably too quiet as the unit gets hot and has a burning smell to it. I had to shut it off after an hour or so of use as the smell was getting worse. Not sure if I have a defective unit or what but unfortunately I will be returning this one and getting a replacement and hope the next one doesnt have these issues.

> 24 hourGreat projector for gaming (Call of Duty) and movies! I don’t have windows in the room where it’s set up, but I do have to dim the lighting to get the best picture...I have the projector approximately 11’ from my screen and not sure how it would do in my living room where it’s bright out during the day. I may attempt in the future to set it up there and see how it does- if so I’ll repost the results. Otherwise a great projector!

> 24 hourPros - high Pic quality, bright - seeing very well with lighted room, easy to use, include HDMI CEC which make the Remote control useless, super quiet, comfortable price. Cons - lamp area is super hot, cant touch it. thats why I didnt gave 5 stars I guess it wont extend lamp life...

> 24 hourI never could get the audio to work. I called Optoma tech support and the guy told me to send it back. It is defective. I was so disappointed. Had wanted this projector for a year. Finally convinced my husband to let me order it and it doesn’t work. I could cry.

> 24 hourMovie nights have been great. Weve used it in the back yard on a 144-inch screen. The images have been bright, crisp, and appear comparable to our 1080p HD TV. We have only used it at night time, so it has been entirely dark. I cant comment on the quality during day time usage. We havent used it for gaming or other applications.
