> 24 hourI bought this unit to replace the HD 26 that I bought in 2016. That was a very good projector I had purchased a new bulb for it and very recently the color went out on it and it was only in black-and-white. The funny thing is when I was reading the reviews for this one the remote control only had 3 1/2 stars but on the HD 26 it has five stars after unboxing I compared the two and they are the exact same. I haven’t heard mounted to the ceiling in the place of where the HD 26 was about 15 feet from the screen I am at the max and there is no adjustment for focus. Where the HD 26 had a zoom in and zoom out as well as focus and fine-tune

> 24 hourI LOVED my Benq. But this Optoma projector definitely has less rainbow effect than the similarly featured Benq projector.

> 24 hourGreat Value for picture quality. however the UI for menu is very archaic. one of the reasons i bought this projector was for the HDMI CEC, but this projectors CEC was compatible with Roku Streambar Pros HDMI ARC. This unit also only has a 3.5 stereo jackpot audio output. for $600 i would expect to have at least an optical output or 12v trigger output.

> 24 hourThis is my third projector and second Optima. The picture quality at 95 inches is amazing. My paid neighbor paid three thousand dollars for an 85 inch Sony Bravia and he admitted if hed have seen that before he bought he would have gone this way and saved close to 2400 dollars. Truly amazing.

> 24 hourProduct arrived quickly and was easy to set up. The backlit remote control is very useful in a dark media room. 4k picture quality is exceptional and the true black enhances the dark colors. Lots of picture quality control options. I also tried an Epson 1060 model for the same price but the Optoma HD28HDR is far better in quality and very quiet sound

> 24 hourI just received the Optoma HD28HDR today and did a few things to test it out before final mount and setup. I tried the QR code for more detailed setup only to find Optoma says a HD28HDR doesn’t exist? It also states in the description that it has optical out, so I purchased a long optical cord to go along with it.... no optical out hookup! Only a 3.5mm audio out jack. The brief look into picture quality didn’t seem bad, but I’m pretty disappointed in the lack of information for the product from the company, and the misinformation on the description. I’m hoping I didn’t waste my time and money

> 24 hourHad a vivitek projector that finally died and I tried to replace it with a cheaper led one. First, don’t buy or of those they are junk. This is an awesome projector for money. It’s very bright, crystal clear, the 3D is awesome. Couldn’t be happier!
