We needed a second cat feeder. Liked the price on this one and the feature of the inner feeder being able to be removed. Voice activation is ok. Works very well.

The controls are not super intuitive, but the instructions walk you through set up pretty easily. It works like clockwork, and the best part is that we now feed our cat 1/2 as much but twice as often which keeps him happy but also his weight down. It is a win win! We can’t attest to the longevity of the product as we’ve only had it for about a month now, but so far we are very happy with the feeder!

Feed my pup 3 times a day and its working well

Just got this last week and liking it a lot more than the feeder we were using prior to this. Has enough buttons to make setting up straight forward. Refilling is very easy. We used the pre-installed portion size, but doesnt look too complicated to use the smaller portions if you need to. The recording part wasnt necessary, but fun for my son to leave a message for the cats to tell them when its dinner time. It has a very wide range for the portion size and should be able to handle a wide variety of pet sizes.

This feeder works well, but we had a misstep in the beginning -- I thought that typical cat kibble would be classified as small because its smaller than typical dog kibble (from my experience). So, when I received the machine, we swapped out the portioning wheel for the one for small kibble. The food dispensed, but unevenly and in much smaller portions than intended. I put the bigger wheel back in, and it now works fine. More precise specifications for what sizes of kibble work with each wheel would have been helpful. My one complaint about this machine now that I have it working properly is that you cant set different feedings to be different sizes. I measured how much food gets dispensed for different numbers of portions, and five portions per day are just about right for my cat, but theres no way to do that with 2 feedings per day. I would like to give her 3 portions in the morning and 2 at night, but thats not possible. So, I have it set up for 2 portions at each of two meals, and I have to use the manual button to give her an extra portion at some point during the day. This is fine when were home, but when we go away for a few days, we have to either under- or over-feed her, depending on whether we set the two feedings at 2 or 3 portions each.

This machine was easy to program and to set up. Ive had it for a few months now, and it always kicks out some food when its supposed to. I dont have to worry about my cats if I work extra or leave town for a few days. My one complaint is that the portion size options dont seem to work properly/that well. The amount for the portions can range from 1-39 and it comes with a chart detailing what volume of food corresponds to each portion. I currently have all of my scheduled meals set only to 1 and yet it seems like about a half cup of food comes out each time. The same is true with all of the other portion options. They seem to spit out a random amount of food and not what it should be based on the chart. But at least I dont have to worry about them not getting enough food. I just wish I could control the portion sizes better.

Great timer and selection of portion size for each meal timer set. The only let down is the speaker quality which is a fail in. I love the fact that it came with 2 portion blades. 1 for smaller sized bites and the other for bigger sized bites. Really great buy.

We had to use metal plumbing tape to strap it down but it keeps the raccoons from getting into it.

Visually simple and beautiful. Easy to operate. My cat couldnt get the food. Perfect!
