> 3 dayI have the following needs for a PDF editor 1. One time cost ($99 for a lifetime) 2. Able to switch devices (once linked to the website, I can use it on multiple devices - if only on one device at a time, but that is okay - the point is when my laptop changes in five years, this will port with me, if it is still being supported). 3. Able to sign PDF documents 4. Able to merge PDF documents - Ive been struggling with this, searching for free software each time. I only need it once or twice a year, but it is a pain. 5. Editing an existing PDF document - again, about once a year, I need to do a PDF document into an editable format. Ive been recreating the document in MSWord. This will save keystrokes. Downsides - Professional 1. One assumes under Professional quality product, a bunch of other aspects over and above the bare minimum of my needs will also be available - this really doesnt go there far. See the reviews at the 2 and 3 star level for people who want something above and beyond the basics. Professional implies that someone will pay you to interact with PDF documents, and this product only delivers the basic product. Final - It meets my needs, and is surprisingly versatile in letting me use multiple machines (extra star for that!). The upload is quick and easy and the initial use fine. Im happy.

> 3 dayI used the previous version of PDF extra for windows. I really liked it. The one thing I did not like about it is that it only gave you a 1-year license to use it. The 2021 version gives you a lifetime license. I like that because its old school. Thats the way it used to be. One license per computer and you can really not have to worry about upgrading for a few years. You can combine various PDF documents into one document. You can edit or add signatures to pdfs. You can do all sorts of cool things with this well-made and intuitive professional PDF editor. You also get 5 GB of cloud storage. I dont really need it, but its nice to have it in case you want a place to store all your pdfs.

> 3 dayPDF Extra 2021 met all my expectations based on the sellers description. It words a little differently than Adobe, but they have a good guide that helps you figure it out. Once you have it down, it is great.

> 3 dayI didn’t want to pay acrobats monthly fee and I thought this would be a good alternative. I was wrong. The old adage that you get what you pay for applies here. The main reason I needed this program is to convert outlook emails into PDFs. Acrobat has a “printer” that one can select to “print” emails to PDFs. This program has no such option. And, all support is done through email and it takes several day to get a response. Look for another solution.

> 3 dayThis is not as user friendly as it can be. After the ease of using PDF products for years this one is pretty cumbersome. Doesn’t feel modern.

> 3 dayProgram feels like 1980s. Everything is mouse driven. Navigating with the keyboard causes strange behaviors. Trying to move text with cursor keys is not possible. Program crashes intermittently.

> 3 dayPDFs are heavily used, from banking to medical, instruction manuals to electronic signatures. Your web browser will open them, and allow simple changes as permitted by the author, but sometimes that isnt enough, and sometimes you need to create your own PDFs. And that is where this comes in. It works very well, gives me the controls I need, easy to use and well documented
