Not inexpensive, but work well. The Hue app was very simp,e to set up. Some challenges with connecting HomeKit settings on multiple devices, but eventually synced and works well.

Works good with Alexa

I have three hue lightbulbs in my home. One in my husbands office, and two in our master bedroom. We purchased them one at a time due to the price but always wish we had them in every lamp in the home (we haven’t tried them in the ceiling yet). The app is easy to use and I love the ability to dim my lights in various color hues. So nice to be able to turn your lights off without getting up. Compatible with Alexa devices. We use a hue hub but you won’t need one if you have an Amazon Echo plus. The only downside to using hue is that they don’t function beyond a regular lightbulb without WiFi, but this isnt an issue unless your WiFi goes out. The amazon price is currently $10 cheaper than Best Buy and Target!

I bought a set of these lights 3.5 years ago and one of them is already failing. It keeps cutting off and says unreachable in the Hue app. Not worth the money.

Have Lifx and Phillips. Love them both. I think the color on Lifx is better and you dont need a hub. But the issue with Lifx is when you need to reset, it is a pain. Philips is much easier. I think the Philips setup is also easier. The app for Lifx is a bit better but both do what I need. Syncs well with Alexa.
