> 3 dayFirst off, its a little pricey compared to a few others. However, it just works. In this case, you get what you pay for. Its a Pioneer and works like it knows it is. I ran this all day ripping old backup -R/-RW disks to back them up. Ireally had this running for most of about 100 hours and it never once failed me or gave any problems. Truly plug and play. It was even able to read DVDs that I couldnt read in my older desktop DVD-R/RW Panasonic drive. It plays BD fast and balances itself fairly well. Not too much vibration unless youve got bad disks. Even then, the noise was minimal. It even came with a third-party travel case that has held up pretty well to a few rough trips. Definitely worth it.

Greater than one weekCame with regular usb, not the necessary usb3.0. Ultra thin and lite! Player wont fully open without help. Seller was fine, but product is ultra cheap.

Greater than one weekI had a bunch of old CDs and DVDs that I wanted to save onto hard drives. They were very scratched up and dirty, but surprisingly this lil player was able to read them with no problem! Did its job with flying colors!

> 3 dayI bought a cheaper external disc drive that didnt work and didnt do what I needed, so I ordered this Pioneer BDR-XD07B. It worked perfectly, right out of the box. I work with a lot of different disc and file formats and this product had no problem reading and transferring files, applications, and videos.

> 3 dayI bought this because I needed a drive that I could use to rip my movies from DVD and Blu-Ray on my newer computers that dont have internal drives. I was told that it being a USB 3 device would make it faster than the drives in my 8 year old Dell. Compared to the internal drives on my old desktop, this thing is noisy and slow. Maybe I should have tried the bundled software, but Im more comfortable with Make MKV and Handbrake. I fee like I spent too much money for this thing, and if I hadnt needed it when I bought it, I probably would have returned it. So yeah, its OK, and it does what it says on the tin...but Im not telling you to buy it.

Greater than one weekI bought this to replace a failing LG external BD Drive that was about a year old. I am in the process of working on my media library so I only use this to read disks. I do not watch movies with this drive, nor do I write disks with it. Overall I am happy. The cord is a USB 3 compatible cord, only takes one slot (unlike the LG which took 2 USB slots), and has a pretty good read speed. This drive was even able to read a disk that my LG drive couldnt so I am happy about that. The things I didnt like about it. One, it is a bit pricey compared to other drives but you could chalk that up to you get what you pay for; and two, the drive is a lift lid versus slide the disk in. The lid does not lock into place so you kind of have to watch that as youre loading a disk.

Greater than one weekWe bought this device thinking it would work on a PC or Mac. Fact is that it doesnt work with Chromebook, Linux PCs or MacBook. Requires a variety of additional adapters and software. After purchasing over $50 in adapters, we learned that it doesnt actually play Blu-Ray movies.
