The price was a little annoying. Setting that aside, being the only way of expanding the PS Vitas storage, it was necessary. Im probably using less than 10% now. But, Im happier that I have that extra 90% to play with than having to worry about, What do I delete? later. The other day, I just bought 6 flash drives of the same capacity at the same price as this one card. But Im okay with that because I only have to buy this card one time.

Until I purchased this, I owned a 32GB card and an 8GB. Although it still wasnt enough storage for all the network games I purchased, it was good enough. The only pain was having to swap out the cards and restart. I caved in and decided to purchase this card and sell off the others and Im glad I did. Now I have enough storage for all my games and no more swapping. Just grab and go. Although pricey, I prefer just having all my games in one spot and less to carry around. If you hold out, the price fluctuates. Ive seen them dip below the $90 mark to around $85. But they are hard to find these days. Especially USA made ones. The Japanesse ones (the one I bought) work exactly the same.

I upgraded from a 16GB card to the 64GB, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Now I dont have to worry about juggling which games I want to store on the card. One caveat though; you only get access to 59GB of it. What I have on the card now: Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate Escape Plan Jet Set Radio Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Tearaway Uncharted Golden Abyss The Walking Dead Season 1 (Telltale game) BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend Dead or Alive 5+ Demo Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition Mortal Kombat Street Fighter X Tekken Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 DJMax Technika Tune Sound Shapes Need for Speed Wanted Sonic Transformed Killzone Mercenary Unit 13 Luftrausers Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational Gods Eater Burst Mega Man Maverick Hunter X Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker Monster Hunter Freedom Unite Still got 11GB left.

Positive: As expected Negative: Delayed in shipment #Morememorylessproblems If youre like me, and you own the wonderful and vastly underrated PS Vita handheld console, you likely have downloaded lots of games (especially if you are a PS+ member). You then have likely have run into the issue of the standard memory card providing not nearly enough memory for all your games. Enter this baby. To my knowledge it is currently the largest memory card available for the Vita on the market, and while the price is a bit hefty, a lot of that is due to the memory cards proprietary nature. The TL;DR version: Sony made special cards just for the Vita in order to jack up the price. Well, since youre gonna be dropping some dough anyway, you might as well go for the highest end one which will also give you the greatest memory/dollar ratio. Simple economics, brother. My only complaint is it got delayed in shipping, so I didnt get it as quick as I wanted. Other than that, its working out great.

If you are like me, a digital PS Vita gamer (I hate the cards, theyre too small and can very easily get lost) you are likely going to be using digital and from a previous 16gb owner, this is a colossal step up and I highly reccomend you get this card. I am big on HD collections, many of them are great ports and I used to not be able to install them all. I finally can. I still have 40GBs remaining, I have the Walking dead, Jak HD, Sly HD (all 3 games) MGSHD, GoWHD, Kill Zone (physical copy) and many other games. Now if you are not a digital gamer, I think 16GB is perfect. 8GB to me is WAYYYY too small for the Vita, you can barely install 3 full vita games on a 8GB. Even with 16GBs I was experience space issues. But not as often as you would with a 8GB. Sony shouldnt even give away 4 or 8GBs tbh.

This memory card was an upgrade for me from a 32GB card. It has had no issues so Im pleased with it so far. The extra space is such a relief, due to all those wonderful PlayStation Plus games offered in the past year or 2. Interesting note: If you use Content Manager on PC, you might want to uninstall/reinstall it so that it doesnt get that error where it says you have 2 PS Vita systems being used at the same time. It seems to register a new memory card as another PS Vita system. That was the only slight problem I had, but it was fixable by reinstalling the program and updating the library for it.

I must say that I was very skeptical about purchasing this because of all the reviewers who had problems with theirs and I was so close to just getting a 32gb, but I took a chance and it has more than paid off. This memory card right from start accommodated all my PS Vitas games and apps, of which were 20gb in total, which is just insane. Imagine if I did get a 32gb, I would have had to order another because it would have just been too small. However one thing, I didnt see in the comments, during the Christmas season was specs. of the ones that did work. My PS Vita is an U.S. model from the $199 Borderlands 2 Bundle, meaning its the PS Vita Slim or PCH-2000 model. Also, I didnt have to do anything to my account when I switched cards. My account stayed logged in after I put the 64gb card in and my memory card has just been amazing, it still has 40gb left. For my experience, getting this was a race against time, because I had the 8 gb memory card that came with the bundle as well as a 3 month PS Plus card, which I activated on Oct. 27. For those, who dont know, when you switch cards youre going to have to re download games to your Vita and that wont come with any save data, so I highy suggest that you either find a way to transfer your save data from your Vita to your PS3,maybe even PS4 or something or buy/ get a 1-month PS Plus Subscription or a a 14-day trial for PS Plus and upload your save data to PS Plus storage [To do this go to the desired application and hit the PS Plus sign at the top, depending on the application it should either be the 3rd or 4th to the right and then hit upload and once thats done switch cards, go back to that same application, hit PS Plus, and download your save data back] So from that point forward I needed to get a bigger memory card so that I could transfer my save data to the other c memory card, before my PS Plus ran out. The vendor I chose was Export-from-Kobe and at first, it said would take til Jan. 22- Feb. 12 to get here, but it came around Jan. 13., so I was pleased. I do recommend getting this product if youre in the price range and market for it, especially if your the type that prefers to download your content from the Store, otherwise if youre more of a physical copy person, get either a 16 or 32 gb and you should be satisfied.

i always wondered why hds or memory cards always show less then what their advertised so i googled it a while ago and its simple really microsoft and others calculate the gbs as a gig of ram which is 1024 megabytes so its shows it as not being the size when checked and the people that sell it calculate them as a true gig. so its really all there also some shadow files that are there to support the hds or cards working properly... if you want more indepth info look it up

Feels great finally upgrading from a 4gb I had since launch of Feb 2012 to a 64gb! Seriously if youre an avid gamer, its really just go hard out go home. Ive put off buying a vita memory card because of the prices but I finally listened to that voice in my head telling me to upgrade after all these years. Plus Ive been playing my vita a good amount lately, thanks to helldivers. Finally getting to use the download code for ffx2 HD that came with X, and many many more games. I have been reading reviews that the memory card stops being read by the vita. Not sure if its a scam to get people to buy the replacement plan or they didnt properly back up/restore their vita. I own the phat version and will update if anything goes wrong with the memory card. But for now, im very satisfied with my purchase.

With all the free games for Vita with Playstation Plus, I wanted as much storage as possible to load games on. I didnt want to take a chance on changing memory cards all the time because these things are very, very tiny. 64 GB of space will hold me over for a very long time. Like others, I was a little dismayed by the high cost of this item, but it is what it is. You need a high speed card to keep up with the demand of games and this baby is quick and big. Prices are not relative with size, i.e. the 32GB is not half the cost of the 64GB card, so I just bit the bullet and bought this. Buy big now instead of regretting it later.
