Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Nintendo Switch

The game itself is fine, but I was lead to believe there would be a pre order bonus code for the in game garchomp set, I never received any code unfortunately. It’s been a little over a week and still no code, and as I look around for information I’m discovering this to be a common problem for many customers.

PLA(Pokémon Legends Arceus) Is a great game for anyone. With all of the features and new Pokémon, the game is bound to bring fun to anyone.

Not 100% open world as you would expect, cant get in water, still fun

This game has been so much fun. The maps are fun, the gameplay is beyond amazing, and this is the first Pokémon game where I’ve actually wanted to complete the entire Pokédex and keep playing. The story is just okay, but the gameplay completely makes up for it. Open world breath of the wild meets Pokémon!

Pokémon Legends: Arceus is a must-have title for any Pokémon fan. Ive dreamed of an open-world Pokémon game for over a decade and Im not disappointed! People will complain about less-than-stellar graphics, as they always do, but aside from graphical breakage (this is the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars), the game is awesome. The controls are super-smooth, the environments you traverse are vast, with varied terrains that dont lack interesting features; I was worried they would be too sparse or samey. There is numerous quality of life updates that fans have been asking for for years. The new Pokémon, being the core of the series, have delightful designs. All the character idle animations (especially sleep) are endearing. In my 23 years of experience as a Pokémon fan, its never felt more rewarding to catch Pokémon. On that note, the characters mean it when they say Pokémon are terrifying creatures, which can often be forgotten with how cute and cuddly some of them can be. Even the cute ones will try to drive you off from their territory if youre caught and the powerful ones are a legitimate threat to you and your party. The Pokémon A.I. is surprisingly robust: Pokémon that have spotted you will linger for a minute if youre still sneaking within their range of detection or even linger a bit once youve left their range, and thats impressive.

It’s an amazing game and everything a Pokémon fan would have wanted the game to evolve to, in the time that Breath of the Wild and Odyssey came out. As it stands today, it feels a little dated, but it’s still an awesome game.

Bought game for my grandsons birthday. He loves it.
