Pokémon Legends: Arceus - Nintendo Switch

My 9 year old was excited to purchase this game. He says it is the best Pokemon game yet.

The game itself is amazing and very beautifully done and will keep you playing and enjoying the Pokémon nostalgia. I am definitely happy I held out to purchase this game as my first Pokémon game on the Nintendo. I pre ordered it on Amazon since I work figured I’d get the game around the same time I was getting home so no big deal. Fast forward 3 months since it released. Pre order bonus still has not arrived. Nintendo says they can’t do anything even with proof of purchase as this is an amazon issue not Nintendo. I reached out to amazon the first time back in February and they issued a $10 inconvenience credit. Okay. Still held out hope until I saw somewhere it said pre order bonus codes expire in April or May of this year. Reached back out and was transferred 2 times because customer service didn’t want to deal with it. They understood my frustration but couldn’t care so they transferred. Finally 3rd rep basically bottomlined it saying there is nothing they can do and issued me a full refund with a $10 credit on top of that. Never. Pre ordering. Again.

Open world Pokémon has been my dream since Pokémon Blue when I was a kid. This game is fantastic.

This a really good game if you are looking for something new, it def caught me off guard with just how different this is to the other Pokémon, i was told dlcs will be coming out so I can’t wait to see what this game has in store but I def recommend this to people who love a sorta of open world with still sticking to some of its roots.

Im not much of a console gamer but Ive purchased every Nintendo theyve made ai ce the NES. My kids now enjoy the Zelda and Pokemon games I grew up on with amazing detail. This is no 8bit pokemon. Think Breath of the Wild but with Pokemon . Slight spoiler, game set before catching and battling pokemon became what it is today you can play online and battle people you come across.

I love the rebalances and new moves, it has unique moves for specific pokémon and that really makes them feel unique. I cant wait until they expand the roster of pokémon in either DLCs or another installment. This game is the future of Pokémon. Breeding is gone, but it was a necessary change imo.

One of my favorite Pokémon games in a long time. It’s innovative and is a ton of fun to play. The story is even pretty good and the game has a lot of replayability

This game is absolutely fantastic, so much so that I’m writing my first review just to praise this game. I’ve played every Pokémon game since diamond and pearl, and besides black and white 2, this game has surpassed all of them. Breathing fresh air into old mechanics that had begone to go stale in recent years, and changing over to a semi-open world style is exactly what this franchise needed to start feeling like the biggest IP in the world again. It is lacking in graphics, but it makes up for that with its amazing gameplay and long play time. Overall I would recommend this game to any new or long time fans of the franchise, it’s worth every cent.

Hands down the best Pokemon game Ive ever played.
