Packaging says U.A.E, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Singapore Official Product. It is compatible with my US copy of Pokémon X (trading Pokémon.) I have yet to finish the game but so far it appears to be the same product as the US release. If I experience any issues uploading to Pokémon bank/home I will update review.

I decided I wanted to buy Pokemon Y because I hadnt played a Pokemon game in forever and I wanted to bring back the nostalgia of Pokemon Blue back from when I was in elementary school. The Pokemon franchise has come a long way since its initial debut in the 90s but for its time I still think the original games were better. Having said that, this game is still great and if youre a Pokemon fan Im sure youll enjoy it. Graphics and individual moves have come a long way since the last time I played one of these games and its refreshing. The game play is similar to most Pokemon games. You collect badges by beating different gym leaders in various towns around the map with the intention of eventually beating the Elite 4. I like the fact that this game has the old classic Pokemon like Squirtle and Pikachu as well as new ones Ive never seen before. The only negative thing I can see about this game is that it seems a little too easy to me and thats why I gave it 4 stars.. To be honest, I dont know all the strengths and weaknesses of each Pokemon type but even still I felt like I didnt have any trouble getting through most of the game (I will say that I am not through the game completely, but I am near completing the main story). I kind of miss back in the old days where I had to grind for a while to level my Pokemon up or get a certain type in order to beat a certain gym. I never had to do that in this game.

Despite the lackluster campaign X and Y have in comparison to other games in the series, X and Y at least in my opinion, are the most ambitious game in the series to date. Gamefreak (the game developers of the series) Introduced many new concepts never done in the pokemon games before, as well as a obvious new graphical art direction. Despite how ambitious X and Y are they do have flaws just like any other games. But as a fan who has been playing pokemon since the original Red and Blue, I appreciate how ambitious Gamefreak was with these games. Pokemon ORAS (a really good Pokemon Ruby and Saphire remakes) wouldnt be what they turned out be if it werent for X and Y contributions to the series. If I were to give the player of X and Y advice for playing the games: As soon as you get Exp. Share, turn it off and never turned it back on. Ever. (Unless you hate grinding and want the game to be extremely easy).

Recibí el producto en tiempo record, llegó sellado completamente, funciona sin problema, y no tuve ningun inconveniente al recibirlo ni al utilizarlo.

Coming from a plethora of Pokemon games which always left my team weaker than my opponents, I have found myself always stronger than the competition and I have been able to oust them with ease, which I love. The new Pokemon have great designs, and the introduction of the Fairy type teaches us Pokemon lifers to reassess our current type-matchup knowledge and add onto it. With the new Mega evolutions, it is fun to strategize while using different battle techniques. The artwork is fantastic in this game, and transcends the standard Pokemon environments found in older games. Horde battles are great for EV training, and shiny Pokemon are far more prevalent in X and Y than in past games. GameFreak has equipped us gamers with the tools necessary for a great Pokemon experience, and I hope to see what they offer next.

Our boys - ages 10 and 15 (when we bought this) have really enjoyed this game. Our 10 year old bought it for our older son for Christmas because he knew he was getting Pokemon X for Christmas and he felt bad for our 15 year old! : ) LOL I told our 15 year old son that and he was truly touched and it made him that much more willing to play the game with our younger son! In Pokemon Y players will go to a place theyve never been before - the Kalos Region, and have the ability to see and collect new Pokemon theyve never encountered before - which is always fun. With X and Y it brings the count of Pokemon to well over 600 Pokemon - Im not sure exactly how many. There are forests, cities, and at the center of all of this is Luminose City - which from what the boys have shown me is all pretty cool. Our younger son really likes to show me when one of his Pokemon is about to evolve - it is pretty cool! In the new games, X and Y, there are some pretty tough Pokemon to catch - which makes the game all the more difficult - it adds a new and more challenging element. There are new moves, new attacks, and a couple of new types of Pokemon never before introduced in other games before - grass and leaf. It all makes for some exciting and interesting game play. If your kids are Pokemon players, Id highly recommend these two new games!

Getting a hold of CIB copies of any handheld Pokémon games is very hard, almost impossible. When I found this I was super excited, and when it arrived sealed and I saw it was “the World edition” I was very happy!

This is a great game, a lot of improvements for those who both enjoy the simplicity of the story and battles, to the complexity of competitive play. Unfortunately I feel that it still does not deserve 5 stars. This is the game that Black & White should have been, This is the game that Heart Gold and Soul Silver should have been. It should not have take this long to reach this level of quality for the game, graphics and mechanics. Now that Pokemon has finally reached the 3D era of games, it feels like they are STILL being lazy, still taking shortcuts wherever they can. They really need to tear down the game to the nuts and bolts and particularly look at the UI. The roundabout fashion that users have to take to get from A to B is indicative of a game from 10 years ago, not 2013. The Pokemon series is the most bumbling, poorly UI designed game I have played on a DS system, and I mean that quite sincerely. The stylus is a uncomfortable burden, not a fun new way of playing. Half the game is buried in menus only accessible by the stylus. I didnt even KNOW you could change menu pages to access Super Training and Pokemon-Amie until about the 5th or 6th gym badge, and trust me thats a long way in. I only found out that I could because someone else playing the game told me! Take out the stylus, put it back, take it out, put it back. Watch anyone play Pokemon and this is what youll see. Eventually they do one of two things: take out the stylus and hold it in their hand while pressing buttons, or put it away and do some other task they really didnt want to do, they just do it because it doesnt involve the stylus. Hire a new UI crew, one that is credited with successful DS titles, and totally redo the menu system. Pro tip: asking other players how to navigate a menu is NOT part of a game, players should be able to experience and navigate a game in its entirety without outside assistance. X & Y are a great addition to the series and I enjoy playing it thoroughly. The transition to a 3D game leaves that great Pokemon feel intact.

Ive been a fan of Pokémon since Red and Blue appeared here in the US. From that point on, Ive been getting my hands on at least one game from each series as they released. After Ruby and Sapphire came out on the GBA, nothing quite pulled me into the world of Pokémon like they had. That isnt to say I disliked the DS games. I still enjoyed them, but I wasnt enraptured like I had been before... this is, until X and Y appeared. I bought Y first, but it wasnt too long after that I bought X. Pokémon X and Y have so much to offer anyone who tries them out. I felt nostalic on occasion, as well as a brand new sense of adventure. For the very first time, you get to see the world in 3d. You also get to play with, feed, and pet your Pokémon! Plus, the new region, new villains, and new legendaries are absolutely fun and awesome. Whether youre new to the series or youre a Pokémon Veteran (like me), the odds are that you will enjoy this game.

I dont consider myself a huge fan of the Pokemon series. Ive played Ruby, Black 2, and Y, and liked them all but just cant get into them as much as other people. With Y, I was hoping that would all change. I wanted to get an Iv/Ev trained team with good Pokemon and learn the strategies, because why not? But thats currently out of reach. You cant transfer Pokemon from older games. You have to wait for the $5 a year Pokemon bank coming out December 27th, 2013 in US, assuming it isnt delayed. Sure, you get a month free, but thats only good for people who bought it beforehand. Maybe this wouldnt be so bad if I didnt have to wait two months to use it? Does this detract from the game itself? No, the game is pretty good with excellent graphics, good music and fun gameplay, and of course creative Pokemon. Does it detract from my enjoyment? Yes, it does. I dont want to recatch a ton of Pokemon I planned on training, and I dont want to have to miss out on the extras in Y just because Im stuck with Black 2. For now, this goes back on my shelf, and I probably wont be picking it up again (I did beat the game). If youve never played Pokemon before, or you dont care about transferring Pokemon from older games, then this is a 5 star game. I admit, I should have been more informed but despite following many news sites, I apparently didnt pay attention enough to know this major drawback. If I had known, I wouldnt have bought the game, and I wouldnt be making this review. I honestly never thought I would be REQUIRED to use the Pokemon Bank to transfer Pokemon to Y, that baffles me.

The Next Evolution in Pokemon comes to Nintendo 3DS.
