This product is pricey, if compared to the standard activated carbon. However, not only does it outperform activated carbon as a chemical filter, but adds the benefits of physical and biological filtration. In power and canister filters, polyfilter elevates performance by orders of magnitude.

Great filter pad, the color changes are a little vague , for instance instead of orange for iron( which is why I bought it) the color was a brownish gold. Tends to get saturated with brown no matter what for obvious reasons.

Works as described.

What can I say but a must have if you are serious fish keeper, I have a Fluval Edge 6 gallon tank and when used with Chemi-Pure Nano bags the water is chrystal clear, Having had large tanks up to 75 gallons I find keeping a small Nano tank more challenging so you need to find the highest quality media you can get and this works the best I have been using it for years.

This is a must have for both reef and fresh water tanks

Only reason Im giving one star is because I cant put negative stars. I put a 3 × 4 piece in my filter on Tuesday the 14th of November, by Friday the 17th water is cloudy, a major detris out break happened and my corals died. My water parameters was fine before I put it in, now everything has gone to Crap. I will not recommend this product.
