POLYBIO Poly Filter PAD 4 X 8

In all my 35 years of fishkeeping, this is the best mechanical filtration media that Ive ever used. And even though they recommend having 100% of your water flow to go through the poly, Its got my 20 gallon display with 10 gallon sump crystal clear with less flowing through it. This is truly all Ill ever use.

It was one pad and that was it. I had to cut it up to make it last longer.

Keeps my tank looking its best.Controls algae really well. Definitely recommend 100% best filtration out there

Love this stuff. It does what it says it does. Just wish it wasn’t so expensive.

This filter does a great job of removing crud from your water. Its more expensive than some other filters, and its not washable, so it may not be your first choice, but it does an excellent job of keeping water quality issues from getting out of control, esp. as youre attempting to establish the bacterial cycle in a newer tank setup.

Excellent product

I have used Poly-Filter for years. It does exactly what it says it does and it does it perfectly. There is no other chemical filter material needed. And as a bonus, you can see for yourself that its working just by looking at it. As it removes contaminates it darkens in color. The only medium that tells you when to change.

I love this product! I overstocked my 50g cichlid tank and as a result had a constant problem of Ammonia spikes and very high Nitrate levels. I do up to 50% water changes weekly but the problem would quickly return within a few days. I heard about Poly-Filter on YouTube and thought I would give it a try. After the first 24hrs of putting the entire 4X8 pad in my wet/dry sump, the Ammonia went from 10ppm to 0. My Nitrate was also reduced by about 50%. I did another 50% water change which reduced the Nitrate to about 5ppm. After a month, I have no more ammonia spikes and my nitrate have been holding steady at about 5-10ppm. If you overstock, which a lot of cichlid owners do, you have to try this product!

great product. it gets full really quick, but the water looks cristal clear!!!
