> 24 hourAs of its first fire up and use, good. Pain in the rear to set up. Even folloqing the instructions. I purchased this to control the torpedo heater in my barn while Im working. Previously I had to let it run until it was 80 then unplug. Wait until it was too cold to be comfortable, plug back in (no on/off switch). Wash rinse repeat 100 times a day, lol. Set the target temp (after much fighting) to 50°. Kicked off at 51.1°. Plenty close enough. Kicked back on at 49.1°. Perfect. Manual On and Off seem to work well also. We will see how it holds up but I am happy so far.

> 24 hourBLUF: This item does NOT work as advertised. Period. At first, I was very happy with the installation of the plug-in unit with my attic fan. I put the batteries in, adjusted desired settings and within minutes of power up, things seemed grand. My ambient temp was about 89F, so I adjusted the target temp above and below to confirm operation as designed. It performed well. Packed up and headed down to the air conditioned living area and immediately noticed a drop of the ambient temperature to about. At noon in FL on a sunny day...not likely. Well, lets shower and let the system balance out. Minutes later, the ambient or current temperature falls to 78F. Interesting. Its working as if the sensor is in the remote - not the plug-in unit as advertised. The description specifically mentions use for attic fans. If I need to place the remote in the attic to sense the temperature...its not much of a remote, is it? Heres where there is a serious need for clarity in the product: The manual states under Intended Use and Principle of Operation that the product consists of 2 components: a Remote Control Unit with integrated temperature sensor and a plug in socket unit. The description on Amazon reads Temperature Sensor: Ambient temperature is detected automatically by the high-precision temperature sensor on the receiver socket. When current temperature reach to target temperature, the thermostat plug stop heating/cooling to measure the temperature to stay comfortable. So...which is it? I know which configuration it *behaves* like.

> 24 hourDoes what it says. One issue Im having is that I set a schedule in the app where it turns off when I leave a distance from home, turns back on upon return. Unfortunately, it just turns on to manual setting, it doesnt go back to the set programmed schedule. I have written the company asking for this update, hasnt happened yet. So, now my schedule gets turned off automatically if I leave the vicinity, and I have to manually turn back on when I return. Kinda annoying.

> 24 hourUnit connected to smart life app after 5 tries, took 3 days to sync to Alexa. However, the unit does not detect tge current temperature, so its either on or off. I got the unit in order to have smart control over the heater, but without the current temp, setting a target temp has no effect. Additionally, unit keeps losing connection to network, so even turning on/off has to be done manually. Basically, this ended up being nothing more than a manual switch at the outlet instead of a networked, controllable device. Waste of money.

> 24 hourRequires 2.4GHz WiFi and a phone or tablet set to the same. You can set the phone back to 5 after its paired. A little tricky to get it paired up to WiFi and the app, but it worked with a little patience. The app is a bit clunky but functional and does what you want with a little finagling. I would have been happy with it but it only worked for 6 days before the temperature sense went to -3F and stayed on in heat mode beyond the set temperature. Disconnecting and reconnecting the sensor, power cycling the unit made no difference.

> 24 hourWorks, BUT the hysteresis is a bit wide. It tracks F degrees to one tenth in the display, but won’t turn on or off until beyond your desired temp. So it will turn on just when your getting too cold and turn off after your sweating.

> 24 hourThis thermostat performs quite well for the price. A warning to anyone not tech savvy or lucky this is tricky to program. The poorly written manual thats included is a joke. For example its written on box exterior switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit but how to accomplish that is nowhere to be found. I played button poker and finally configured it to work like I needed it to and does quite well. I almost gave up and sent it back.

> 24 hourThis wireless programmable thermostats works well, is easy to program (for those with some technical understanding) and meets all of the specification as advertised. The thermostat itself is not as accurate as I would have hoped, it reads approximately 2 degrees F different than two other thermostats located near it. The instructions could be much more clear, for those who are technically inclined it would be hard to program.

> 24 hourI have an electric fireplace used as a space heater in the winter, but it doesnt have a built-in thermostat. I plugged it into the Hycency outlet, paired the remote, dialed in a setpoint, and placed the remote close to my workspace. It regulated the temperature of the room nicely, switching the fireplace on and off as needed. I should note the first unit I bought arrived with a damaged LCD on the remote, but Amazon swapped the whole unit out quickly and easily. Great performance for the price!
