> 3 dayI use this in my Office Shed at home to run a window A/C unit so that the fan is not running all the time. The hysteresis is 2-3 deg f. not a huge complaint but that makes for a 4-6 deg f swing in room temperature and comfort. The thermostat part is a bit finicky with the batteries and does funny things to the display when its not positioned just right. Switching from heating to cooling is very cumbersome. I have to keep the manual around just to operate the thing. 4/5 works to keep temperature 2/5 ease of use 2/5 would recommend a friend buy it

> 3 dayI really love these devices. I am using them in our fifth wheel to ensure the dogs are comfortable when we step out to a restaurant. We keep the a/c thermostat active in case the outdoor temperature sores from 32F to 80F in a matter of hours, usually around noon. Bought two last year but Snowmagedon rolling blackouts in Texas shorted out both of the outlet controllers and my space heaters. This year I bought two more, one in white and one in black so I could keep the remotes straight. I kept the old remotes from last season just because they work great as thermometers independently of the controllers.

Greater than one weekIt is an Inexpensive alternative of smart thermostat. I use it to control my tower heater, So that I can avoid over heating problem that I had previously. The temperature is not super accurate, but it do the job. I would recommend this if you live in a rental property where you cant use a smart thermostat.

> 3 dayI am using this to control the temperature in the bathroom with a radiant heater. Before the thermostat plug, the bathroom was about 79 degrees. Now, I can regulate the heat remotely and keep it a normal temperature. Great product. Highly recommended!!

> 3 dayMaybe mine was a defect. Everything worked great but the plug always felt loose. Anything I would plug into it, it just didnt feel like it would grab. I tried bending the prongs but didnt help. Eventually it melted and I had to put it out of commission. Sucks because it was a great product. I was ready to buy about 4 more.

24-11-2024The design of the outlet on this is such that it doesnt hold a plug well. Because of that the plug backed out and the heater I had plugged into it never came on. Luckily, that didnt matter much, this time. It does sense the temperature and turn on and off like its supposed to, but without tying the plug down where it cant fall out of the outlet, that doesnt matter much. Im pretty sure the house didnt move much while I was gone, so I dont think it was shaken loose. It wasnt where any critters could get to it, so I dont think it was knocked loose. Im pretty sure it just fell out, because the outlet simply doesnt hold a plug in place.
