> 3 dayFinally I was able to gradually raise/ lower the temp of the bearded dragon tank to simulate the day cycle. I can also set the min temp (75F) at night time. All the other controllers just let me set the max temp & then turn off the heater all together. I want better control just like I would for my house. And this lets me do easily. Only thing I dont like about this is the short temp probe. I wish it was 1 ft longer then itll be perfect!

> 3 dayI tested the unit and it took some playing with the controller to figure out how it works and to get readout in Fahrenheit. I thought on and off buttons were to turn it on but is always on if batteries in place and are only indicator lights to let you know if heater is on or off. I like that you can put the remote in the room location that you are trying to warm,

Greater than one weekI was a bit worried because some reviews shows the device almost catching on fire so I watched it like a hawk the first week or so. Checked on it and it has always been cool at the plug. I have an old house w/o whole house heating so in my second bedroom I have a cute wood console with a heater in the middle of it. The kind that have a pretend fireplace. Anyways if I left it on the room would get too hot or if left it off too cold. This little device works great at regulating the temperature. The remote is tricky to change from Celsius to Fahrenheit but I managed. That’s the only negative. I recommend this product if something changes I’ll update.

> 3 dayOK to configure and connect to Alexa and Google. Programed my heater for the daily schedule based on time and temperature. Sometimes it shuts off and the configuration completely gets reset. Plugin and configure everything, if the power goes off or the internet disconnects or unplug and plug it back all setup goes off. It may be an issue with Smarthings apps. I will try with Alexa or Google to automat and check.

19-11-2024Update: stopped working after 3 months. With 1500 watt heater. It took it apart , it melted inside Initial review: Dec 2021 I bought this thermostat to control the temperature in a 15x15 room in my basement with out a furnace duct. i am using this room as a home office for work from home during Covid. I bought this in conjunction with a Comfort Zone CZQTV5M Ceiling Mounted Radiant Quartz Heater heat. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YBH9XVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So far the combination has worked flawlessly keeping the room a warm 72 degrees that I set on the wireless thermostat. In the morning, the room is around 59 ot 60 degrees, it takes about 15 minutes to warm the room on the high setting of the heater. The low setting does not keep the room warm enough. I would recommend this heater and thermostat combination and would buy them both again.

> 3 dayDespite the not great instructions I got this device set up reasonably quickly and am convinced it works and is accurate (temp matched the reading on the baby monitor). That all said, I put it away 5 min after setting it up because even with black electrical tape over the indicator light, there is a bright green flash visible every minute or so and I will have to return the item.

Greater than one weekBLUF: This item does NOT work as advertised. Period. At first, I was very happy with the installation of the plug-in unit with my attic fan. I put the batteries in, adjusted desired settings and within minutes of power up, things seemed grand. My ambient temp was about 89F, so I adjusted the target temp above and below to confirm operation as designed. It performed well. Packed up and headed down to the air conditioned living area and immediately noticed a drop of the ambient temperature to about. At noon in FL on a sunny day...not likely. Well, lets shower and let the system balance out. Minutes later, the ambient or current temperature falls to 78F. Interesting. Its working as if the sensor is in the remote - not the plug-in unit as advertised. The description specifically mentions use for attic fans. If I need to place the remote in the attic to sense the temperature...its not much of a remote, is it? Heres where there is a serious need for clarity in the product: The manual states under Intended Use and Principle of Operation that the product consists of 2 components: a Remote Control Unit with integrated temperature sensor and a plug in socket unit. The description on Amazon reads Temperature Sensor: Ambient temperature is detected automatically by the high-precision temperature sensor on the receiver socket. When current temperature reach to target temperature, the thermostat plug stop heating/cooling to measure the temperature to stay comfortable. So...which is it? I know which configuration it *behaves* like.

> 3 dayI am using this to control the temperature in the bathroom with a radiant heater. Before the thermostat plug, the bathroom was about 79 degrees. Now, I can regulate the heat remotely and keep it a normal temperature. Great product. Highly recommended!!

> 3 dayI read all of the concerns and I found it easy to set up...<1 minute and it works great. I use it ON/OFF to turn on an electric heater in the bedroom and then turn it off when its time for lights out! I do not use the thermostat so I did not have some issues others did.
