This actually works really well. Perfect for controlling a small space heater in a room. Only issue i had was the contacts inside the plug in were spaced to far out so it would fully hold the cord that was plugged in. I took the cover off, squeezed the contacts together and has worked great since

Update: stopped working after 3 months. With 1500 watt heater. It took it apart , it melted inside Initial review: Dec 2021 I bought this thermostat to control the temperature in a 15x15 room in my basement with out a furnace duct. i am using this room as a home office for work from home during Covid. I bought this in conjunction with a Comfort Zone CZQTV5M Ceiling Mounted Radiant Quartz Heater heat. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07YBH9XVG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So far the combination has worked flawlessly keeping the room a warm 72 degrees that I set on the wireless thermostat. In the morning, the room is around 59 ot 60 degrees, it takes about 15 minutes to warm the room on the high setting of the heater. The low setting does not keep the room warm enough. I would recommend this heater and thermostat combination and would buy them both again.

The probe doesnt work, even though Ive plugged and unplugged the probe, reset factory data in the device settings, then also removed the device entirely from the app and reconnected several times. It then displayed simple thermostat and said it was 34 Celsius but then the probe shows so responsiveness to temp changes like the heat of my hand or blowing on it, not by even 1 or 2 degrees. I have a mercury thermometer in my room to cross reference

Im an American and like my temperature in Fahrenheit. The instruction manual did not say how to switch from Commie Celsius. The Amazon product description has the process above. Other than that, it works exactly as advertised. Hooked up to a window AC unit in the wood shed and now I have a thermostat.

evaporative coolers have high voltage going to the main control switch and wit can be expensive to run a control switch remotely and the thermostats for roof top water coolers start at a minimum of $40. The key is you still need at least 5 wires capable of carrying the 110v power to it where ever you remotely install it. This product does not prewet the pads but has not been an issue where I live and how I set my temp. This allows it to cycle all day without freezing you our at night or on milder days. This item resolved all my grandmothers operator error complaints with running a water cooler instead of an AC unit which cost triple the price in power consumption to operate.

Finally I was able to gradually raise/ lower the temp of the bearded dragon tank to simulate the day cycle. I can also set the min temp (75F) at night time. All the other controllers just let me set the max temp & then turn off the heater all together. I want better control just like I would for my house. And this lets me do easily. Only thing I dont like about this is the short temp probe. I wish it was 1 ft longer then itll be perfect!

I got the Wifi version, ordered 2 of them. One of them works very well, the other doesnt power on at all, a complete dud. The one that works was easy to pair with the Smart Life App and it works with Alexa as well. Amazon says theyre sending a replacement for the dead one and it should be here tomorrow. Im using them (well, one of them right now) to control 2 5,000 btu window air conditioners (and probably 1,000w heaters in the winter.) Make sure you dont exceed 1,100w, thats all it can take, and unfortunately most space heaters are 1,500w. Luckily, most 5k btu air conditioners only use like 400-500w on high. One criticism is that, if the unit is off, Alexa cant change the temperature setting. You have to tell her to turn it on first, then tell her to change the temp. I hope the replacement for the dud works. Well see tomorrow.

This worked exactly as described. I do wish it had better temperature difference between off and on.

This is a great device to add temperature control to my cheap “always on” space heater. The programming, however, is non-intuitive and difficult. I am a tech kind of guy, but got pissed off trying to get this thing working.
