The problem with using a small space heater is that they either get the room too hot or they constantly short cycle because their own heat triggers their thermostat. You set your space heater to full heat and then plug the heater into the remote outlet. Then put the thermostat somewhere away from the heater in the space you’re wanting to heat and set the temperature you want. The heater will run until you temperature is met. It might take a little getting used to what the thermostat says as to what you want it to be but once you get that figured out, it’s a great little device!

Maybe mine was a defect. Everything worked great but the plug always felt loose. Anything I would plug into it, it just didnt feel like it would grab. I tried bending the prongs but didnt help. Eventually it melted and I had to put it out of commission. Sucks because it was a great product. I was ready to buy about 4 more.

This is a great device to add temperature control to my cheap “always on” space heater. The programming, however, is non-intuitive and difficult. I am a tech kind of guy, but got pissed off trying to get this thing working.

Im sure youve read other reviews of this here but yes its cheaply made electronics. Yes the instructions are...confusing at best. And yes, Ive. Plugs fit very likely UNLESS you use a three prong appliance then it fits well enough. I cant stress enough DO NOT USE A TWO PRONG DEVICE IN THIS PRODUCT, the will hang out and Im sure you can Denise the numerous hazards with that. I did use a three prong appliance in this and it lasted about 14 months before it unexplainably quit wirking

The thermostat stand that allows it to stand up on table is flimsy so hung control on wall. The unit works very well and Im satisfied with its performance.

This is a great little device. It keeps a very accurate temperature in the bathroom I use it in. I am very pleased with it.

Unit straight up failed after 2 days. No power, no lights, no control. Worked well until it didnt.

Great product works well as designed. However, I wished the thermostat was located in the outlet plug in instead of the remote control. The beeping and light can be annoying for a bedroom.
